Everyone that's good with Biden needs to look at his earlier years and how he got rich off deals with big pharma, his dea contacts, and by bribing the then head of the FDA to lie and approve dangerous opioids forgoing all the later testing that covered areas like dependency and long term psychological affects because it made him rich. Then hired a bunch of professional salesmen, hundreds in fact, to travel around the country promoting their newly approved meds and offering incentives to the Dr who prescribed them. Out of this was the true birth place of the opiate era that now plagues millions of our fellow Americans and has destroyed who knows how many families and lives. So, what do we do with one of the men who was directly actively involved in orchestrating the destruction of so many for his personal gain? Well, we make him president of course. Anyone who doesn't know of all this should look it up. It's pretty damn interesting. As huge as it is it's amazingly managed to be kept locked in the dark, the public completely unaware.

It's the mother, because the subject of the sentence is the Mother, and it is in an active voice, if it where the daughter, it would be: 'A mother beats up her daughter because the daughter was drunk'

Okay, what if the sentence was “a mother beats up her son because he was drunk”. Or if it were “a father beats up his daughter because he was drunk”. Essentially the same exact sentences except that there’s now a clear distinction. They’re both perfectly acceptable sentences.

My CS teacher used to do that when we asked questions with "or". Taught us a thing or two about boolean logic. My proudest moment was when I asked him something XOR something else, and he gave a useful answer

Fun fact: The jar, in 1 add for kool aid, we see the empty jar getting out of the shower for the usual morning routine, which consists of filling up w/ water from the shower and the adding the powder. But long story short, Kool Aid Man is the jar.

It's a "two birds, one stone" situation here. Financially destitute would be the equivalent of prison for him. He wouldn't know what to do, where to go, what to do for rent or food, and if he had medical issues, he would have to face crippling debt. He would be emotionally paralyzed. It's absolutely devastating for a rich person to suddenly become poor.

It's about asking a question with "or" in it, technically you can answer yes without actually answering the question because it isn't "proper English". But in the USA most speak the "American Slang-uage", as I like to call it. (Britons approve my term as far as I can tell.)

Originally, Arthur had a properly long aardvark nose (that would have worked for balancing glasses). In fact, the first Arthur book ever written was about Arthur being self-conscious about his nose, and later learning to accept his natural appearance. Over the years cartoonists kept shortening Arthur's nose until he ended up with the round face we know today. As a grade school teacher, I find the change disappointing.

FUN FACT: You don’t need to use toothpaste once you’re an adult, and if you live in a place with fluoridated water, you don’t need it at all—these days toothpaste is basically just a fluoride delivery system. When toothbrushes were invented, they were made from very stiff fibers that abraded the gums and the toothpaste protected them from that happening, but once they were converted to plastic, this was no longer an issue.

This is a common issue with English, in that we don't distinguish between inclusive and exclusive "or". "Do you want milk or coffee?" can be read as either "Do you want something to drink? I have milk and coffee." or "You must drink something, so choose between milk or coffee." Although generally to the former you say "No", "Yes option A", or "Yes option B", with "yes" being a rather unhelpful response.

Maybe this will explain...Nothammer is German for emergency hammer. This is in Poland which is next to Germany. For Europeans this makes sense but not if you only know English.

This has an actual answer: depends on the oil temperature. Poaching in oil (confit) is done at a low heat, lower than 100C. Frying involves a much hotter oil.

Actually, actually he was rejected by the Portrait Program because he couldn't do humans realistically, and modern art forms were only a few years away. The Architecture Program offered to take him since he was excellent at scenery (most of his hundreds of works were buildings and landscapes). He was stubborn and refused to do architecture, therefore he got mad and decided not to go. He was already Hitler.

" - "Yes" is a suitable answer to describe that I would like either a Fanta or Coke, both are good options so you can give me either.
