How often do you hear about people who QUIT their JOBS just to be able to do something they always wanted to do? Most of them choose to travel. But that brings up questions: "What happens next?", " Will they have enough money to return?" Well, how about a different approach?
We are Łajka, Wadyń and 3 years old Zazu. Both, me and Wadyń, have full-time corporate jobs. But we also love to travel. So we manage every hour of our free time in a way that makes it possible for us to travel more than anyone could imagine.
We are a family that always has a plan. A plan for an evening, a weekend, a month, or the next six months. There's always something we have planned, whether it’s shopping, meeting with friends, a family weekend, a new business. And very often these are plans to travel. Sometimes, when a spontaneous idea for a trip pops up, we only have a few hours to arrange everything. But there is always a PLAN.
In the last 10 months, we visited 39 places in 9 countries, on 3 continents. Here’s a short story of what we do, in pictures.

I feel like they should've waited a few years. I went to Italy when I was 5, but I don't remember much. If you do this at age 10+, it's nice

I don't want to be negative as this is such a lovely thing but you must be in a lucky position. You only have one child. Do you both work earning a decent salary or do you save every penny. It also does sound a little exhausting. I hope it continues as the little girl gets older.

I'd be pretty upset if my parents took me to travel the world when I was too young to remember any of it...
Thank you for this. This is a nice change of pace from the "I quit my job to (blank) trend on BP"...
I know nobody cares about this, but - despite what life-style media tries to enforce over people - you really don't need to travel the world in a been-there-saw-that fashion to be happy or feel realized. I mean, just focus on improving your own surroundings, creating a better environment where you live, helping the poor and needy, and striving for your community. If it is happiness that you want, that's where you'll find it.
Cool I would like to travel more too but in my fulltime job I have no time for this. And if I have little time off I try to rest and relax.
I quit my job to gather material for a BoredPanda post. How 'bout dat?
Am I missing something?! They say 'We both have full-time corporate jobs & We have a 3 year old', straight away I'm thinking, who looks after the kid. Sure the kid could be going pre-school but even so, both parents full-time!!! That's got to be hectic! Who get's the kid from school? Who keeps the home in order? 'So we manage every hour of our free time (what free time, you both work 8hrs a day and have a child! I live by routine and schedule but c'mon!) in a way that makes it possible for us to travel more than anyone could imagine'... care to elaborate? seriously elaborate! '10 months, 9 countries'?! How are you taking so much time off of work? There must be more to this than simply 'good time management'... what's your secret? I want in!
Leaving the job to travel is not easy. And bringing family on it, is the next level of not easy
It's great that she gets to be introduced to all kinds of different cultures, giving a better connection to the world.
