Picture this cutely hilarious scene: You're lying in bed, in the dark at midnight, half asleep. All of a sudden you hear these huge, loud and fast footsteps coming up the hallway, towards you. Your previously closed door creaks open, and someone walks to your bed. Something that feels like a hand traces up all the way up the bed until it reaches your face. You're sweating, "who is this creepy person? A robber? A pedo? WHO!?" But suddenly, the hand pushes itself onto your face... the hand is... furry? A sweet little "meow" comes from the 'hand'. You roll your eyes, and pull your pillow to the left, leaving the cats spot for her. This happened to me every night for 1 and a half years until she was taken from me, in an inhumane way. God bless you Tiny, and I still leave that spot open for you... if you ever come back... ever....

Aw, Charmsie used to sleep like this. My new cat prefers my ribs, and it's not fun.

The last time I was at the vet was with my cat who had been attacked the night before, the last time I was at the vet was the day I found out why was acting different, the last time I was at the vet I was told my cat's livers were internally bleeding, the last time I was at the vet was when I decided that euthanising my cat was the best decision for her. And I am here to say that if anyone reads this, if you have a pet LISTEN CAREFULLY. I know it's hard to handle a death, but you HAVE to be strong. When a pet is being euthanised, the last thing it will do is look around for its loved ones and just stare at them. Imagine you were so sick that it was decided to pull the plug. Imagine dying, alone and surrounded by strangers when you KNOW for a fact that your family is outside the room, waiting for you to die. That's what it's like for an animal to be euthanised while being awake. Do. Not. Leave. The. Room. I'm sorry I got off topic, but I needed to get that off my chest, thank you.
