About a year ago, I posted a series of illustrations imagining what some foods or inanimate objects would say if they could talk and interact with each other. It was such a fun project that I kept creating more and more throughout the year.
Here are some of my new favorites!

More than often, I find inspiration in food and objects that surround us in our everyday lives.
I wonder what it would be like if they had a voice of their own. What would they say and how would they interact with each other?
My real name is Teo Zirinis, better known as Handsoffmydinosaur! I am an Athens-based freelance illustrator and graphic designer, whose passion is finding the happy, amusing side of things. I get the ideas for my funny drawings in everyday topics, such as food, books, and life in general.
Food has always been a strong source of inspiration for my illustrations, but the food-pun series really kicked off a couple of years ago. It started as a hobby but for the past three years I've been lucky enough to be able to turn it into a full-time job.
I daydream a lot, so most of the time it's just seeing or thinking of a type of food and imagining funny/silly scenarios in my head, I write most of them down and try to find the punchline that works best.
My process is usually quite simple - I always sketch my ideas on paper first and then rework them digitally, mostly using vector software. The amount of time it takes to finish an illustration depends, of course, on its complexity, but most of them take about an hour to complete.
Although, I would prefer not to give much away yet, I've been working on a couple of fun series that I will hopefully be able to share soon!
