I am a writer from Utrecht, The Netherlands. In 2014 I spent 3 weeks on a writer’s residency in Virginia City, Nevada. I was there to finish a first draft my novel (which I totally did), but while there, something happened. The landscape and history of Virginia City intrigued me and I ended up writing 26 poems, which have been published in a chapbook, called Ghosts of Old Virginny.
