I Get Bullied A Lot And Never Liked Cutting, So I Put My Pain In My Art

I’ve always been quiet and an introvert. This past year I’ve been a lot more open and welcoming to people. But I also met a friend last year. A friend that I like more as a significant other almost at first glance. She too was quiet and introverted and didn’t have many friends. She was picked on daily and in every class. Eventually we started dating. We get back to school and everyone already knows. Suddenly I’m in the spotlight and everyone hates me for who I love. Why are people so Homophobic?
Everyone goes through a rough patch, but not everyone makes it

Share on FacebookWell I think that's unfortunate that you are being bullied. No one should have to put up with that. I am glad that you are using another outlet to express your pain-that is very brave if you! You keep your head up. I like your art work.
I'm really concerned about the bullying. Are the adults around you aware of it? Would your parents be supportive of you if they knew why you are being bullied? Google "gay youth groups" and see if there's one near you. Also check for online groups that can offer support. Another possibility is joining a theatre group -- they tend to be more open-minded and they may appreciate help with making posters or sets. Some actors are actually shy introverts.
