My name is Matt Burgess I am an ocean photographer from Australia. I enjoy capturing the ocean in her many moods, one thing that draws me to the water most mornings before the sun rises is the relationship between water and light. I have been capturing ocean images for around 6 years now and to me there is no better way to start the day.
I love to capture beneath the breaking wave as it is a view that most non ocean going people don't get to experience, a lot of people are blown away by what actually happens beneath the surface.

She looks like a beautiful painting. I used to live near the breaking waves but now I'm on the other side of my Island home where it's more protected. So miss the sound & the action❤️🌊

Beautiful artworks. In fact I'm glad this was posted as I think I might have used one of your photos on a design for an album, that I've just finished. Couldn't find a credit for it. The album is called The Realms of the Sea and I'd be happy to send you a copy, even though you may not license the use of the art. My son regards it as Ambient fusion jazz but I say ifitfits ...play it. Regards.
