My name is Matt Burgess I am an ocean photographer from Australia. I enjoy capturing the ocean in her many moods, one thing that draws me to the water most mornings before the sun rises is the relationship between water and light. I have been capturing ocean images for around 6 years now and to me there is no better way to start the day.

I love to capture beneath the breaking wave as it is a view that most non ocean going people don't get to experience, a lot of people are blown away by what actually happens beneath the surface.

I can feel the mist on my face. And I hear the silence of the roar. I <3 the beach.

She looks like a beautiful painting. I used to live near the breaking waves but now I'm on the other side of my Island home where it's more protected. So miss the sound & the action❤️🌊

Mni Wacini, the water of life.. All water is sacred and made holly just like consciousness of a new born, in innosence and purity. Thank your water for keeping you alive, your each and every cell is made of it, your body consists of it 70-80%, plants and animals alike thrive on it..love your water, keep it clean of mad thoughts and selfish deeds, your water is where the health of your body begins, your lymphatic system, if it is not kept clean, toxins can penetrate every other system, blood, muscles, nerves, bones. Based on Aurveda ancient knowledge, your water is your overall health. Love your water, treat it with caring respect and it will love you back more. Water like a child has memory, make sure it remembers only goodness from you, each of your cells has memory because of water, it is an amazing element and we are made mostly of it, let go of your ignorance by blessing your water, the time is now.
