The occasions when I need to check something (e.g. "should that plant be removed from the pasture, or stay, because healthy for them" or ordering some more fence repair supplies) and then a fat nose appears over my shoulder, just to sneeze on the telephone are too numerous to count. Especially the youngedt is wildly interested in that flat black box.

My father is a talented artist, and he painted these hollow eggshells 35 years ago. I've always been afraid to display them because they're very fragile, but a solution popped into my head today. I made a nest globe for each of my four kids, and now the eggs can (hopefully) stay safe for many more decades!

I haven't spoken to my dad in a year. I have cptsd, long story, I;m almost 69 now. He's going to be 98 in a couple weeks, with mid stage dementia now. With 6 daughters, he had his favorites, I was not one of them, I had to cut him out of my life 3 years ago for my mental health. I mourn the relationship I never got to have with him. The hunting trips another sister got to take. The Sunday dinners a different sister got. The phone calls that were refused. If you can call your dad, in love, do it. If you can't, I understand, and wish you peace.
