Ok we actually had to move and remove mirrors within my dogs eye line. He woke me up every night and I'd hear him cry dying the day... I found out he would take toys, bones and treats to share and play with the doggy trapped in the mirror. It was breaking my heart.

It's not tooth decay, it's plaque. We're working on that with the vet, they can't do anything about it until he gets rid of his heartworms, because its risky to put him under anesthetics while he has heartworms. (He was a rescue so he came to us with heartworms and lots of plaque and he was only about 25-30 pounds, while he was supposed to be around 100)

@Hafida No, cats are not like humans, they don't care for the most part, as long as they know that they are safe and around people/animals that they trust. Using closed litter boxes can actually be harmful.

Because a hooded one wouldn’t fit because of the radiator. It’s a very, very tiny kitchen and a hooded tray stuck out too much. This one I can push up against the wall and fits under the radiator. I do have 3 hooded trays dotted around the house.

I once walked into the shelter in the morning to a horror scene. Somehow the little buggers had opened the fridge and found the stash of catnip. They left the fridge door open and there were catatonic cats lying everywhere. We had fifty cats loose at the time (only ten cages for sick ones or new arrivals).
