“Hide and Seek” with a Horse.

Last night, my daughter taught me how to play “hide and seek” with a horse. Here are some pro tips:
1. Horses are terrible at hiding
2. Horses are great at seeking
3. If you don’t want to be found, don’t carry apples in your pockets
4. The horse could care less if he finds you. He wants the apples.
5. Neither the horse nor the 11 year old give a damn if they win or lose, so keeping score will drive you nuts.
6. There really isn’t anywhere to hide in an arena.
7. The horse will beat you to “home base” every time. (if there are apples there).
