"A million tears" by Trees of Eternity, a very doomy, infinitely sad, emotional song on it's own, but when I found out the singer had cancer while recording and died before the album was released, just tore me apart....
Such a beautiful song, and a beautiful singer, I have to hear it but it sometimes hurts too much...... She had such a beautiful voice, so sad and vulnerable....... Such a loss...

"Let it be" the Beatles.

My father died when i was 15. Although they were divorced they were both hippies and loved music. I remember laying in my bed and listening to knights and white satin. (Moody blues) my mom came in and sat with me. Finally turning off moody blues and singing let it be.

Still when the dark nights or worse the dark days come i hear the echo of my moms voice singing me power.
