The world shows enough signs of cruelty every day, these might make us all question if there are still selfless people who agree to put others' happiness before their own.

Let me put a reference to this context first: Sometimes there are child cruelty rackets that kidnap young children (4-12 years old), cut their arms or leg, and force them to beg in busy streets. By nightfall, all these children are collected, and their money is snatched away. Generally, the ones who bring money are given food once a day and the ones who don't are starved.
So the actual incident: every time any such poor child approaches my mother, she never gives them money. she asks if the child has any friends around him/her and instructs the child to call them. When everybody is gathered she takes the to a nearby restaurant and treats them with food.
It makes me so happy to see happiness in those children's eyes.
Not incidents per se, but a lot of the people on this site. They're just super sweet and kind. If you're reading this and thinking 'wait is he talking about me' yeah I probably am. Most people on this site are just really great and give substance to my hopes for humanity
And you are that way for us as well! Your existence on here makes people's days a lot brighter :D.
