Either locked in my bathroom in the floor chatting with bots on character ai or watching anime with my sister, both are nice 👍

My best friend's house. It's a place where I can go when the insanity in my head is too much (to clarify: the crazy is navigating normal life stuff, the insanity is the emotional disorders). I can go over there and just lay on her couch and process my emotions without speaking. It's safe because she doesn't try to fix me or make me feel better, just process, and I know that my kids are safe while I do it because she makes sure they get good healthy food and keeps an eye on them. (We bring our own food. I just can't always make sure they eat properly when I'm struggling with the depression or anxiety.)

My local skate park. There is a tight community of the skaters there with an all for one one for all rule if one kid is getting messed with all the other will go and defend them

There's a big flat rock under a tree in a dry river bed that I like to lie on when I'm stressed out. It's very calming and just feels nice to not have any distractions for an hour or so...

One corner of my room where all my extra blankets and stuffed animals/pillows/Squishmallows are just kinda tossed in a pile. It's super cozy, and I like hiding in there.

Toinen on kuulokkeet kotona.
Forest. I'm less afraid of being mauled by a bear in the forest than by a person in an urban area. Time spent in the forest has been found to lower blood pressure, lower stress levels, increase creativity, and best of all, there is less noise pollution caused by humans. Another is headphones at home. My husband is very talkative and I am quieter myself, so I take my own space and time listening to audiobooks or music, the headphones tell the other person not to disturb unless the house is on fire. In the summertime, the backyard or balcony of our apartment building, with headphones in your ears, of course.

Oh my, sorry for the confusing text, I was enjoying the Christmas spirit and had a little to drink. Then the English language is forgotten and you have to use a translator. 🤭
