So. Uhm. When I was five, my parents were both outside gardening. They had left a HUGE bag of candy on the top shelf of a cuboard. and uhmmmmmmmmmmmm I was going to get it. I got a chair, and got a ton of my stuffies (I had tons) and piled them on top of the chair. I then managed to climb it. Then everything fell. I grabbed onto the shelf, and hung on for about five minutes until my parents came in. They had to help me get down

This was about 10 years ago. I got into a fight with my boyfriend, so I left and drove off. I already took some pills, and decided to take some more. Several hours pass, and I'm high as f**k. I don't remember why, but I remember doing donuts in a field with my car. The last thing I remember before waking up was deciding that it was time to go home. Fast forward a few hours later when I was woken up by a cop and an EMT at the drivers window. I don't know if I fell asleep, or was too high to remember, maybe both, regardless I had crashed into this persons car and remained passed out there in their driveway. Because of that, and the DUI and reckless driving charge, it really f**ked up not just my life, but my boyfriends for a while. Since it was my first offense, I received 6 months probation, and required to take a course about DUI, and substance abuse. But, I screwed that up by continuing to do drugs, failing the drug tests which lengthened my probation and eventually spent a few months in jail. As traumatizing as all that was, I'm lucky and grateful that the only damage was to that persons car, that I didn't hurt anyone with my recklessness. That being said, I have been clean for a while now, but I still think that jail for addicts doesn't help. I believe that there should be more therapeutic course to help people struggling with addiction.

Snuck out of the house when I was 13 to meet a 15 and 17 year old boy. It was the night my parents brought home my baby sister from the hospital. The phone rang once. It was our signal. They were waiting the next street over. My dad chased us down, 2 miles from our house. Didn’t say a word to me on the drive home. Got home and went to walk up our stairs. Took my first step up and my dad literally kicked my but up the stairs. I totally deserved it. Was grounded the entire 8 weeks left of summer. I never snuck out of the house again. My 7 other siblings never even tried after me.
