My friend told me this story about a chinese/japanese demon and now i see the demon in my dreams.
This girl's parents had to go on a business trip so she got dumped at her grandma's place for a few weeks. The day before her parents were due to pick her up she was out shopping for eggs. She bought her eggs and was on the way home when she heard "po, po, po,". The girl looked behind her and saw and 8 ft (2.4m) tall woman. The woman was deathly pale, and was wearing a veil. The woman beckoned to the girl, but the girl ran. She ran all the way home and into her grandma's arms. The grandma asked what happened and the girl told her. The grandma informed her of the facts.
The woman the girl had encountered was a demon, long ago locked away, but had escaped a few centuries ago. Now the woman, each year, picked out one child to kill. The woman would not stop trying to hunt down that child, and if the child died the woman would just try to murder the intended victim's closest relative. And she could mimic voices.
Anyway, the grandma locked the girl in a room with one candle and salt in all the corners, to ward off demons. One night had passed, and her parents were supposed to pick her up that day. The grandma had left and the girl was alone when there was a knock on her room's door.
"You can come out now, it's your mother." said her mother.
Except the girl didn't answer because the salt had turned black, which meant a demon was near. The woman, after many attempts to get in, finally left. The girl was picked up by her parents and brought back to australia.
Fast forward 30 years:
The girl is now a woman, single, and has just received a phone call about a holiday to china/japan. She is about to accept the invitation when again she hears, through the phone, "po, po, po,". This means it is the demon. The woman was followed by the demon everywhere and was eventually caught alone. She died lonely and depressed.
Fictional story told to me by the same friend. Fortunately, she doesnt show up in my dreams.
This girl was 16/17 years old when she and her friends got afterschool detention for a prank led by the girl. Their detention task was to clean the drains. While serving the detention her friends starting blaming her for the detention, and insulting her. After serving the detention the girl went to the train station, and then realised she forgot to buy her dads birthday cake.
When she came back to the station it was quite crowded and the girl had to force her way to the front. Unfortunately, she got jostled right off of the platform and onto the tracks. Then the train came. Needless to say, it did not survive.

The cake i mean. The girl survived, but had to live with no legs. She stayed in many hospitals, not for her legs, but mental health. She was bent on revenge. She had somehow gotten access to the security camera footage and was tracking down those people one by one. She was killing them doing to them the same thing they accidentally did to her. Cut off their legs. Except she also fed them poison to make sure they never lived to tell the tale.
It was only after her death (Suicide) that they realised that she was the killer.
