Roughly 20 mins long.

Giant octopuses. I hate the ocean and almost everything in it and octopuses do scare me but they're also really interesting, i remember i had a full month of my life where all i did was read about giant octopus. It sticks with me, especially the scary stuff lmao
1) How education systems fail neurodivergent children 2) How jedi are the villians in star wars 3) How mutants are definitely coming to the MCU
*4) how wikipedia is a better source then a textbook from the '80s
You don’t sound dumb! Neurodivergent basically means people who have autism, adhd, tourettes, dyslexia, etc, and Neurodiversity advocates for better systems to help those of us who don’t fit into the “normal brain” box to get easier support and accommodations!

Load More Replies...Egyptology, specifically Tutankhamun. I was seven when the King Tut exhibit came through our city. Standing less than 10 feet from a gold sarcophagus mask has that effect on a kid and I was hooked on the subject ever since. I even tried to make it my major in college...but found out I'd have to learn to read, write and speak in German and French to accomplish this since many of the original notes about the initial discoveries in Egypt were not in English. I settled for Forensic Anthropology. And since I'm a nature show buff...I could also do a presentation about certain species and the problems they face surviving in the wild as well as the efforts by conservationists to save the species through breeding programs.
Why fountain pens are better
Toxic Masculinity...I'm an 18 year old girl and it distresses me so much
I hear you. At one point, I worked with folks who seemed to think their Y chromosomes were cause for celebration and used misogynist terms to put each other down. I tried to grow a thick skin and be above it all, but I can testify that denial doesn't work in the long run.
Make sure you include everyone in the "people who create and foster toxic masculinity" slide. Yes, even the mothers.
I wish my much younger self had had a talk with a woman who said, "I don't like to see a man being weak". The context: her drawing teacher was looking sad because he was going through a divorce. C'mon, divorces are super-tough! I hope that young woman evolved. Crap, expecting half the population to appear unaffected by a difficult times in their lives?

Star Wars Biblical Knowledge My English teacher's cat National Parks of the United States The Hunger Games
I would like to know the backstory on your English Teacher’s cat please.
She has two cats. I get weekly updates on one of them because she doesn't have the best health. It's kind of funny because we are always talking about our cats. Their names are Dolly and Dobby. Dobby is prone to constipation and has to take meds twice per day. She's also really stupid, though, so it's kind of funny to hear about how easy it is to give the medicine to her. Yep.

Anaphylactic allergies, the issues with having them, and how shitty companies can be to people who have them
I agree. I had my throat closing up on me and my face was swelling from an allergic reaction and my boss said if I left I was fired. I asked loudly how many of my co-workers would be a witness for me in a wrongful termination lawsuit and/or my husbands wrongful death lawsuit and they all raised their hands. She had no choice but to let me go.
Yikes! That's horrible.Though, I have a similar experience When I was eating at a restaurant (not going to say the name) I asked the waitress what was in the bread so I could avoid having a reaction. She said she didnt know, but she would go get someone who did. Later, she brings the manager who proceeds to tell me they dont know what's in it. I'm annoyed at this point, because it's kinda essential to know what's in the stuff you sell to people. The manager leaves for a few minutes and them comes back and tells me it's peanut and treenut free (I'm allergic to nuts). I order the bread, eat it, and have an allergic reaction. I managed to use the epi pen I keep in my purse, but if I had passed out I wouldn't have been able to. The manager f*****g lied to me just so he could get out of there, and later confessed that he did lie since he didnt know what was in it.

The original Blues Brothers movie was a traditional mock epic, with nearly all of the traditional conventions that make a story a literary epic.
