Hey Pandas, Let’s Have A Debate. Should 11 Be Allowed To Have Girlfriends/Boyfriends?
I say this because I currently have a girlfriend. I’m 11 but I really have feeling for her and I think she does for me too. But we’re not telling our parents for obvious reasons. I see kids at school dating other kids that they clearly don’t have actual feeling for. So I wonder if my girlfriend has actual feelings for me. Could you please help me? (Btw my girlfriend and I were both born girls but we prefer it if you’d use they instead of she and them instead of her. But if you forget it’s okay. Thanks 😊

It’s fine. If you’re worried that they don’t feel the same, sit down and talk about it. Tell them you really care and see where it goes. Just respect each other and yourselves. Love is complicated enough without people putting an age limit. You’re both young so enjoy getting to know each other and don’t rush it. You got this! ;D
I think it should be because if it’s forbidden kids will still do it anyway. Probably more. As long as nothing serious happens in this relationship, no harm is done. As long as you remember to balance your time.
In my opinion, you should probably wait a bit longer. Build your friendships first. I know that's going to be the unpopular view but you asked my opinion

Sure! Im aroace so ive never had romantic feelings for anyone but when i was in school lots of kids had boyfriends/girlfriends, some are still boy/girlfriends now they’re adults or even married. Its normal for kids to have crushes, if you want to hold hands or kiss i think thats fine, wait til you’re older teens to do you know proper adult stuff though. if you want to.
Allowed? Yes. Everybody should be allowed to date people of their age.
But remember that dating is only a part of life. That other aspects like friends, family or interests are also very important. Some people get too carried away in their first relations.
But I think that sex should not be done until the person is much older. At least 16yo imo
As a teen myself, I would say it all depends on maturity.....if your parents are okay with it then go ahead, if you don't thin your ready or your parents don't think your ready then u rlly shouldn't, trust me! You have all your life ahead of u :)
