Check into Seasonal Affective Disorder. When I learned about it and how it affected me I was able to take steps to feel better during the winter. But it still feels so much better that spring is coming.

please dont do it anymore its not good for ur health i made the same mistake by cutting my self and after a year or two of cutting i had to go to the hospital because of the amount of blood i lost so please dont do that anymore

the reason i have depression is because of my past, i was abused,raped,kidnapped,cheated on. then when i was 10 or 11 i seen my step moms cigarettes and i took them and tried one then ever since that happened i kept on smoking then slowly my depression got worse to the point i started to cut myself and then once i was cutting and my friends came into my room and seen so ever since then they didn't trust me by myself and then they wouldn't stop trying to get me to go to therapy i kept on saying to them "no i dont need it i'm fine" but they could tell i wasn't fine because they could tell when i was faking a smile or a laugh. and now that im going to therapy i kinda think that my depression is slowly getting better but at the same time i think it's getting worse because every time i have to talk about my past i stat to freeze up or i can't think about it without breaking down.........also there have been 2 times that i tried to commit suicide.......i honestly dont know what to do anymore

I know therapy seems tough and honestly not worth it but it helped me so so much, i have a friend who i almost lost to (TW) suicide and they said therapy has helped them a lot, too! :)

We care! Therapy isn't easy, I won't lie. I think of it as treating an abcess: opening an old wound to clean out the decay so you can heal. Be kind and patient with yourself. It's also about learning new ways to think, and takes practice. You can do this, with a little help from your friends.

I see your an anime fan, well I mean you’d be glad to know that a lot of anime’s are getting pretty good 😌 rn, even mangas such as AOT; I mean the recent chapter was a lil depressing but we’re nearing the end! Boruto has been taken over by Masashi which then again did lead to a quite depressing recent chapter and umm new demon slayer movie which also has a depressing-, YOU KNOW WHAT; ONE PIECE IS STILL GOING AND THERES NO DEATHS LMFAO AND ITS HILARIOUS! I live in Azerbaijan, and they just won the land war over Karabagh with Armenia. A little backstory: Karagabh is actually Azerbaijan's and local Azeris were living on that land. Then Armenia came in and drove them off the land, and killed massives amounts of people. In 2020, however, there was a six-week war and Azerbaijan's people are now going back to their homeland. I know this because I and my family live in the capital, Baku, as ex-pats. (P.S: Don't sympathize with Armenia. I can stand people who say that Karabagh is Armenia's. It's not. Karabagh is Azerbaijans forever and ever. )
