Someone In Bulgaria Is Putting Googly Eyes On Broken Street Objects, And It’s Even Better Than Fixing Things
Last month we introduced you to the art of "eyebombing," otherwise known as sticking googly eyes on basically anything you can find in order to make people smile.
Well the trend has now reached Bulgaria thanks to a street artist called Vanyu Krastev, and as you can see from his "eye-catching" work, he certainly has an "eye" for the perfect eyebomb! From trees and lamp posts to trash cans and sidewalk stains, Krastev is proving that even the most mundane things can be made more interesting with two googly eyes and a little bit of imagination! Check out some of our favorites below, and don't forget to vote for the best!

You can look at it two ways. Either, the human shadow has googley eyes, or that bin is screaming for its life!

These little things make a big difference. What was ordinary, unnoticeable, even unattractive before has been transformed. And with humour too (which we need more of in this life)

I keep googly eyes in my car so if I come across a patch of "Bird of Paradise" (official flower of Los Angeles) I can help them out. They look fantastic with eyes on them!

It's obvious that the person taking the photos is the person sticking the eyes. Why not give the thing an honest name? It makes me angry to be treated like I am dumb.

This was cool the first time it was done, however giving any credit to the "artist" in this case for boring / copying / stealing the idea and then doing it in Bulgaria seems lame.
