Indonesian artist Fazry Maulana finds fun in everyday mundane and silly situations and turns them into entertaining comic strips. Family, relationships, social media, body image, familiar and unexpected scenarios from our daily lives – this is just a small part of what seems to inspire the artist to share his observations and personal experiences with the world.
To his almost 8k followers on Instagram, he introduces his comics as mostly ‘drawn out of thin air.' “They're just about funny and silly things that happen around me. It's fun when the stories of the comic relate to the readers," the artist told Bored Panda.

This is so me. If I'm home alone and I hear a noise, I literally Freak Out!
Once, during my freelancing contract days, a very quiet and peaceful afternoon like any other, I was home alone, working at my desk, in front of the computer. Suddenly I heard noises as when the flat is slightly shaking when it's windy outside, or a heavy truck passing by. However, this time the sound's pattern was different and unusual, and I checked out through the window, not even a breeze, all was very calm and peaceful. My chair slightly shook right and left for a very short while. I stood up to inspect the rest of the home and the surroundings. Again, all peaceful. "Earthquake...?" I thought. But "naaaaah", I dismissed it, since Korea wasn't really famous for earthquakes. That day all news reported about the first huge Korean earthquake in centuries. Me: "oh..." Yep, it was an earthquake indeed and a historical one too. (The damage was very bad at the epicentre, but thankfully, my home is pretty far from there, so I felt it on a minimum scale.)
