Hah. I crossed the border (US to CA) with my family as a kid. Agent asked my dad if we had anything to declare and my 10-yr-old self piped up from the backseat "I DO!" I then went on to declare how much I liked Canada. Lol

Crossing the border from the States to the Great White North and my smart Alec sister was asked by the border patrol if she knew us (as a child at the time too, I was asked as well) to ensure we hadn't been kidnapped. She decided that was a good time to flap her gums and say that she didn't know us (she was maybe 5 at the time) and so we got diverted and had to go through a bunch of interviews and such to confirm that we hadn't been kidnapped.
