This Twitter Account Posts ‘Poorly Drawn Animals’ And Here Are 37 Of The Funniest Ones
Here at Bored Panda, we showcase some of the finest artists and creative spirits the world has ever known, all for your viewing pleasure and esthetic education. You could write poems about the artists’ detailed paintings and life-like renderings of what’s most beautiful in this world. However, a drawing doesn’t have to be detailed and realistic to be esthetic.
The Poorly Drawn Animals account on Twitter is exactly what it says on the tin. It is chock-full of amusing, funny, weird, and beautiful (if very simplistic) drawings of animals from photos. Here are the pictures featured on the account that we thought were the most interesting and worth your attention. So get your scrolling finger ready, upvote your favorites, and drop us a line with your thoughts somewhere in the comments.
We’re pretty sure these simple silly drawings will make you smile, brighten up your day, and may leave you giggling like a little kid. And we hope this will inspire you to do your own poor drawings of animals. So here’s a small challenge for all of you Pandas out there: find a photo of a panda (or any other animal) that you like, do a poor drawing of it, and upload it in the comments or send it to our email! We absolutely can’t wait to see what you drew.

“Draw Animals and submit it with the image you tried to draw! Posting the worst pictures of Animals,” is what Poorly Drawn Animals exclaims in its bio. Now, we don’t know about you, but the word ‘worst’ here seems a tiny bit ambiguous and, in our opinion, can probably be interpreted to mean ‘best,’ ‘most wonderful,’ or ‘most ravishing’ — at least when taking into account how much we enjoyed looking at these drawings.
Was it in the tree? I thought I remembered them drawing the face on his bum when he was stuck in Rabbit's burrow? I may be remembering wrong - Pooh gets stuck a lot of places, lol!
Load More Replies...Right?! This reminds me of a story about a gerbil named Ragout I read a few years ago that still cracks me up.
Load More Replies...Some people believe that they weren’t born to be artists, but the fact is, everyone can learn to draw (even though some find it slightly easier to improve than others). What’s more, drawing has a lot of benefits. Julianna Marie Wells from Columbus State University writes on Odyssey that drawing helps us with our coordination and ability to visualize the world in our minds.
That ducky is ridiculously cute, even the drawing is really adorable.
I Am Taking A Bath. Do You Mind! Can I Have Some Privacy? Now Leave Me Alone, Please.
Furthermore, while drawing, both the left and right sides of our brains get some much needed ‘exercise,’ while our capabilities to concentrate, analyze our surroundings, and to develop our so-called artist’s ‘eye’ all improve.
I've NEVER seen a kitty lie on their back like that, my cats never do anything that adorable.
Lastly, drawing’s fun, so stop thinking about the benefits and just enjoy yourself. So grab a pencil, pen, or anything else nearby and start scribbling, dear Pandas. We still want to see your poorly drawn animals!
That cat. Is. Truly. Terrifing. I would hate to wake up at 3am and have that face staring down at me.
That little fluff ball is adorable, but it's completely f*cked up to purposely breeding cats to create the munchkin cats who can suffer from lordosis where the spinal muscles grow too short, making the spine sink down into the cat’s body.
Ok I got my mind very confused on that one. Cat is facing to the left, walking down left direction but the porch is going up.... o.O ugh
It's a larger surface while the angle makes it look like a balcony wall.

When you hold Gloria the Holy Duckling up towards the sun, the halo will show.
Should have had squinty eyes to give the full effect...but a large number of Liberal Pandas would have had an aneurysm.
I can literally hear the "iiiiiiiicccckk" coming from this cat, lol!
Squinty eyes here, but not up there...completes the effect of being angry.
Nurses, when the same patient rings his buzzer for the 10th time that hour ...
I'm going to try a new thing. Instead of us laying eggs once a month. I'll just lay one big egg every year. Yeah ok? Sounds good?
"What do you mean? The Ostrich egg is missing? No, I haven't seen it for some time. Sorry, can't help you."

I honestly think it's just the position and angle of the pic. I thought the same thing at first.

I like how they absolutely freeze when you lay anything on them, no matter how light the item is. Mine fall over and absolutely refuse to get up until the collar was off, same thing when I put my daughter's baby clothes on them (purely for my entertainment ... yes, I'm a terrible person)
Think I saw the other half of this guy at the beginning of the gallery
I don't think they are poorly drawn at all. Actually they're simple but accurate.
The artist's Twitter account is called 'Poorly Drawn Animals'
Load More Replies...These aren't poorly drawn in fact some are so accurately shaped that I suspect the rtist has 'traced' around the edges of the animals using drawing software.
