My Girlfriend Turns Our Life With 3 Cats And A Dog Into Humorous Illustrations (20 Pics)
Corina started with Tales from the Litter Box as a little personal project about a year ago and it has become a weekly routine for her and an experiment for everyone willing to watch (even for the cats, whose active participation at messing inks has been recorded).
She promised it would be something to release her hand and brain from her daily projects as an illustrator, away from the tablet, computer, specs... But after a while she was so thorough she homogenized the format and even designed several functional fonts for it (freak control? NEVER! *See, honey? I can be trained, just like our tribe of monsters*). You will hear her laughing out loud quite often while thinking of jokes and painting, so it's very cute. Add a cat on her lap or blocking her work at the table with the weird dog at her feet, and the result will be unbeatably adorable. Even if they spoil an ink or two. Or ten...
She has painted +200 inks already and this is a little tribute to her terrific work converting our journey with our furry family into charming and brilliant vignettes (and even commissioned books). Please, convince her to give her inky cats even more attention. Her fans are all eager to see this getting out of control but somehow she's happy with her compounded audience.

for some reason Corina can't see your comment, but there's a why: she HATES roaches. This is the second one she paints in her entire career and she rather not do that ever again! But she fostered a kitty one time that will give her a giant roach every night, sometimes inside her slippers. "Thank you kitty, very sweet but no, thanks". But yes, she totally agrees it needs more roaches, but no thanks LOL

Hello, here's the illustrator and I want to comment this one: Ruby, the sweet girl on this ink, is very special to me. She have two sisters, Stella (the dog) and Dot (the grumpy kitty at the bottom), but she got in love of Maya (down syndrome kitty) and Dragon (paralized black kitty). Ry has a very rare genetic condition called Stromme Syndrome and there's only 13 people living today with it. So it's something of awareness and to reunite all this fancy group on an ink, which Ruby, her family and Maya's family loved. Go and find her, she's exquisite! And the quote (which I don't usually chose to use) is from Ursula K. Le Guin: to be hole is to be part. We boost our selves with the right surroundings and beings, we're better together. If you find about their stories indivitually, you will be amazed of the beautiful chain of MARVELOUS people working to make this Planet a better place. p.s.: sorry for the long text!
I know exactly how this feels. But I unconditionally still love my 4 cats (Momo, Carl, Cornbread, and Freddie). All cats in general are the greatest!!!

I find very hard to pick a favorite. The gestures, the expressions... I want to see more. Love the colors, the captions, the situations... too much laugh. Too much accuracy.

i love her style, very accurate and anyone who's got a cat can see the accuracy on their portrayed expressions and bodies. very accurate. love the coloring and the panel framing. really nice job!
Since I am violently allergic to cats now. I have Rabbits and sometimes they act very cat-like and other times very dog like, but altogether they are all furry family. (love my Athena and Moya, soon to be adding Pepper to the fur family)
Rabbits are adorable and have GREAT personalities! I love rodents in general, they are so clever and sensitive!

I love these to the moon and back!! The style is amazing, and there’s a great deal of relatability to them. Laced with humor. They’re very good in a variety of ways. Animals, especially cats, are wonderful, but can certainly be a handful. But sometimes, that’s why we love them!
I appreciate your sensitivity! I think there's a lot of intelligence behind her "simple" inks. Her plan from the beginning was to avoid long term characters so everyone could feel related (looks, behaviour, situations..) and she REALLY plans every aspect (without any effort. My brain would exploted even by thinking about doing the same she does so naturally). Thank you for your nice comment!

It's both, and sometimes just one or the other depending on situation, you trendy, mindless, "funnay", unqualified imbecils. Try another schtick or dumb "joke" after 15 years. If you can't distinguish a real animal from some dumb clichés online, there is no helping and use for you, and your pet is in wrong hands.
Overall these were good, but I think some proofreading should've been done before posting.....
Well, I have a feeling that English isn't their mother tongue... I'm an English teacher and translator and I don't mind in this case because at least the person is getting the artwork out there. I would offer help to proofread the messages before inking them, though.

Comics like this, the Simon's cat and others make me feel...Why? Why do people choose to live with little terorists? Like my in-laws. They have two cats. Each has own bed but love to sleep on the sofa/table/where ever they decide. And no one dares to make them leave (except me 😈) like the were Gods, or Queens at least. Not even newborns have such treatment in this familly. I find this ill.
all my pets are actually quite well educated and they will never steal food nor beg for it. They all have marvelous and unique personalities and represents the best company I could ever ask for (see hospitals examples about patience reactions when you bring pets for them). Yet, I rather see a spoiled animal than a spoiled human adult, and sadly, the Planet is full of those
