This is what artist Bella Sriwantana is counting on by sharing quirky comics about her daily life. She opens up about her ups and downs, common girl struggles, and relationships with a great deal of self-irony and humor.

Bella’s comics are basically a diary of her personal life that people all over the world can actually relate to. As she told Bored Panda, “My comics are based on my personal encounters in my daily life. In the beginning, I wanted to create diary comics for myself to remember things in a fun and special way. I also draw about women’s struggles such as ‘that time of the month’ or how we deal with things in our lives that some women can relate to.”

My bf has the most beautiful lashes that are brown at the roots and golden at the tips, paired with stormy blue/grey eyes, I sometimes threaten to put a bit of subtle grey eyeliner just to make them really pop, but he won't let me (he hates the feeling of stuff on his eyes)

A self-taught Belgium-based artist, she proves that ambition, hard work, and a positive attitude can do wonders. “I started drawing probably since I learned to hold a pencil. Back then, my childhood heroes were Sailor Moon and Disney princesses. I love their cute costumes and long beautiful hair so I would spend hours and hours trying to draw them in my sketchbook,” Bella said. “However, I never took any art lessons but I spent a lot of time watching animations, reading picture books, and practicing on my own. I think that’s how I grew my passion for art and design and continue to draw and make art until today.”

Born in Thailand, raised in Los Angeles, and having studied and worked in Japan as an Art & English teacher, Bella most definitely has interesting experiences in her pocket. However, she started sharing her work on Instagram not so long ago after she felt confident and happy with her own style. “My style is more like doodles that you draw on scrap papers,” Bella explains. “I’m not using a lot of techniques or tools to draw so my style always looks messy and imperfect. I was struggling to find my own style for a long time and it got stressful for me because I was trying to aim for perfection. Now that I found my own style, drawing and creating comics have become something that I can do more often to relieve stress and fulfill my passion.”

Bella often writes down funny situations that happen in her daily life so that she can later put them into comics. “I start with creating a sketch and then I can make a new line art and give some colors to it. I stick with the colorful color pallets so that my audience can get positive and cheerful vibes,” – says Bella as she describes her creative process.

I've never found a jumpsuit yet that didn't look like a shapeless potato sack on me. They also seem to come exclusively in black or with weird patterns on them.

It’s because they need to be tailored. The waist bands have to hit in the right spot or you’ll look shapeless. They have to fit your torso and waist position, which is hard to find off the rack.

Yeah. I made several jumpsuits for myself in the 80s when they were the thing, but this was a downside. I also had a onesie made of fleece back then, waaaay before they became a thing, and going to the loo in the middle of the night was worse than this ^ iyswim!

I know this is late, but here's the thing: I'm nearly 70, so ladies, maybe you can profit from my years of experience.. or not. Up to you. You purchase an expensive, uncomfortable bra to wear UNDER your clothing (invisible) in hopes that .... what? Some male will appreciate it, think you are somehow more desirable because of it? No -- he doesn't care at all. He just wants you to take it off ASAP, because it is in his way. So you do - you throw it on the floor, along with the money you earned at (maybe) 75% of what he earns. Why? How has that helped YOU? If he wants Victoria's Secret, let HIM pay for it. And consider, does he tart up for you? Not at all, most likely. Does he even wash? Again, probably not - because YOU are the dirty one. So, maybe things have changed, because everyone is so woke, but somehow, I doubt it. Am I wrong? You tell me.

Well... childbirth worked for me. I don't know if its because i compare the pain or if the cramps actually are less painful. (But not everyone wants/can have kids - i get that.)

I believe there's some sort of labor pain simulator you can hook up to a dude so he can experience what you do during childbirth. I've seen a few videos around...not many can stand it.

Here in Finland all labels have the same text in many different languages so many people who are over 30 years old probably still know very random words in Swedish, Norwegian, Estonian, German, etc only because they read the labels of various products while sitting on a toilet. :)
