Artist Creates Fun Comics With Unpredictable Endings That Poke Fun At Our Society (30 New Pics)
Interview With Artist
Ryan Kramer, aka "Toonhole Ryan" is a cartoonist, comic artist and "just a guy trying to enjoy life and not get too fat." He creates funny illustrations that feature ridiculous, unexpected and sometimes dark situations and that can offer a good laugh.
The artist has been self-publishing humor comics and animation on the internet since 2010 and he co-runs a website called "Toonhole" with 3 of his friends, on which he releases new comics weekly. Besides that, the artist also is a director of Looney Tunes at Warner Bros.
Ryan told Bored Panda that he likes animating cartoons, but they take too long to create. "Comics are a quicker way to tell a joke or story. I started making them with my pals and we were stoked about making each other laugh. I also really enjoy the process of trying to capture a funny idea and all the stages of bringing it into comic format."

Ryan revealed that his journey as a comic artist started in high school when he used to draw comics to make fun of his friends. Combine that with his love of cartoons and a cartoonist was born!
In college, Ryan met John, Chris and Mike, who shared the same love for old cartoons and similar drawing sensibilities. The friends teamed up and created Toonhole - a crew of cartoonists and professional animation artists who, according to their description, "crudely draw really really realllyy dumb stuff in their free time."

From time to time, artists face some challenges when doing creative work. For Ryan, the most challenging part of the creative process is trying to find a joke/idea worth capturing. However, "it is very rewarding finding it and translating it from your mind to paper." The second most rewarding part for the artist is holding the finished piece (if it's done traditionally). "It also feels good if it goes viral and people respond well to it," Ryan added.
We got curious whether Ryan ever feels burned out by doing creative work. The artist shared that he doesn't really feel too burned out with what he does. "Sometimes I can pile too much on my plate, but I try not to bite off more than I can chew."

The artist stays passionate about comics because he is constantly evolving as an artist and storyteller. "Making comics excites me and always gives me an outlet to express my humor and try new artistic pursuits/styles."

honestly, same. It upsets me when I see CBD advertised everywhere when a disproportionate number of black people are in jail for selling the same drug it comes from. Black people punished, white people profit.

It's a oil derived from the marijuana plant. It is supposed to help with a lot of negative effects such as muscle pains or anxiety without having the high that the plant it comes from gives you when you smoke it.

I've tried it for pain and it didn't work. But I know a lot of people for whom they say it's a lifesaver. A lot of friends use the cream for joint pain. My underage niece was prescribed it by her Dr years ago. She's disabled and non-communicative. My brother saw an immediate difference from the first day (so it's not a placebo effect since she didn't even know she was getting this). Her whole demeanor changed. She used to thrash around and scream a lot. Wouldn't let people touch her. Now she cuddles up in her parents laps and loves to be hugged. It was painful for her to be touched before. They didn't realize just how much pain she was in until the CBD oil.

I feel this guy's frustration so bad. I'm so sick and tired of every where I go, every time I turn around, advertisements and people are trying to get me to take CBD products or just plain out smoke weed and get high. It'll help with your anxiety, it'll calm you down, trust us. And my favorite, weed isn't a drug, it's legal. They're not too happy when I tell them that just because something has been legalized doesn't mean it's not a drug. Hell I consider the caffeine in my coffee a drug. And I'm damn sure not going to take CBD anything or smoke weed to calm down, just so I'm easier for other people to deal with. I much prefer to continue going to therapy and trying to work on my issues then to drug myself into a false sense of calm just so I'm easier for other people to deal with.

Fun fact, the commandments say we shouldn’t worship worldly objects, so that’s another level of things she is doing wrong if she is a devote Christian as it appears /s Okay there’s a lot of hate down there so let me clarify It’s a joke, and I never meant to say she was worshiping the statue. These were pretty fun, but where's the comic in the header, I wanted to know what the husband said after that stranger called his wife a B! I looked at all of these and it wasn't one of them :(

If you don't like dark humor, don't read the comics labeled dark humor then comment negatively on them. There are comics made for your taste. This is one of the top ten things wrong with the world. If it offends your sensitive lady feelings, don't look at it. If you look? Don't comment negatively just because you looked and were *offended*
