Cats are probably one of the most shameless creatures of the animal kingdom. They come and go as they please with an attitude that says, I run things, leaving dead mice and birds in their wake. Well, some cat owners are fed up with their feline companion's devil-may-care behavior and want everyone to know just how bad their cats are, through public shaming online.
The Instagram account @cat_shaming has provided pet owners a platform to guide their silly cats through a walk of shame, where photos are posted capturing their furry friends in or after their criminal acts. From funny cats rolling around in fresh paint to peeing in their owners' handbags, it's clear that these animals don't give a damn and will probably continue to live a life of crime. The same thing happened to my 15 year old niece. Everyone thought she had appendicitis, she said the pain was really bad and she was doubled over. After a few hours in the hospital she had to come home and admit to her brothers and sisters she was constipated. Of course they had a field day with that and she has never lived it down.

OMG! This one has me laughing so hard because I had a cat who set her own tail on fire once just like this guy did! I was chasing her all over the house trying to put out the small fire and she kept running away from me! Luckily, the flame went out on its one before causing and damage to cat or home. Just some singed hair! No more candles in my home after that fun little episode!

Hey just a mention as a person who owns a cat that loves to hang out with lots of folks in the neighborhood. Unless the cat actually looks malnourished or doesn't have a collar. Please don't provide it food. We couldn't figure out how our cat was getting so fat. Well apparently 3, that's right, 3 different people on my street were buying and keeping cat food at their house to feed my kitty when he would stop by. 1 was keeping wet food. So of course he would chow on that every time. Luckily me and my dogs and my cat all go for strolls. So I finally met all of the people that enjoy my cat on the side. Hehe.

In 5th grade, before typing a report and printing it at home was very common, my friend's cat peed on his 30 page, handwritten report the morning it was due. With few options, he tried dousing it with his dad's cologne. It was not a pleasant ride on the bus to school that day. I don't think the teacher allowed it in the classroom.

I once rented a room from some people who had a cat who would pee on anything of mine. I had to be very careful not to leave my shoes on the floor, etc. Once she got into my room and peed on my pants and soaked my wallet. I didn't realize it until the middle of class. The adrenaline rush that accompanied the anger gave me the energy to say some things in seminar that needed to be said, so I guess it is good in the end. Hard to clean up all that stuff, though.

On Thanksgiving I put my pumpkin pies on a half-wall between the kitchen and the family room to cool. Our two cats knew to stay off kitchen counters and tables but this was a technicality and I should have known better, this was a no-man's land. Went to get the pies to serve them and found them with a perfect paw swipe across each one. Don't know if one cat swiped both or if each cat took a swipe. It was pretty funny and they didn't even break the rules. All my fault, I haven't been trained well enough.

Once I had a kitten. She always slept next to me and one night I woke up because I felt something on my breast. She somehow found my breasts and tought I was her mom. She was trying to drink milk out of my nipple. Scared the s**t out of me. It was so weird and cute at the same time. Sweetest cat I ever had.

Had a similar experience several months ago. From my 3 year old long hair tabby. I woke in a panic. Then again as a kitten he was always sleeping in my vest. I'd zip it up and he'd nap. Didn't matter what I was doing.

When he's lying with you, he's probably very happy and warm. It might remind him of the sensation he had when he was a kitten, lying with his mother and siblings. He might be biting your nipple because he thinks you're his mother and in his half asleep state he wants milk. It's a sign of affection - you're very lucky.

My twins did this when they started teething. They would snuggle up against you and curl up into a little ball and you would start to relax and feel really comfy and loved and then BAM! They would bite us so hard in the chest it would leave little purple welts! It got to the point where I wasn't paranoid about snuggling with my own babies. Of course we reacted in shock and pain a few times and that was enough to convey our feelings so they stopped. Then they started biting each other's arms...try explaining to your pediatrician why your children have bruises going up there arms!

Poopy? XD I had a tiny kitten named Pee as a small child. I named him this because his belly got so full of milk, that after a while you would poke his abdomen and pee just came out. My mum forbade me from doing it, but the name stuck.

A friend's male cat went missing one day. Four years later, my friend came home after work and saw his sister sitting on the doorstep and thought "Heidi's put some weight on." It took her a few moments to realize it was the missing brother. He just showed up quite casually after four years, in good health. My friend was pleased to see him, his sister, no so much.

My cat found a way to get into the garment bag and sleep on my suit jacket. On the way to a VERY important meeting (included executives of my company and an international vendor) a woman behind me on the bus pointed out that I was covered in cat fur. I tried to get it off, but ended up trying to keep my back to everybody.

My cats don't even limit it to cans... when they hear you open a jar, they run up and will not stop begging until you offer them whatever was in the jar, which they don't want. All thanks to me putting diced pickles in my tuna sandwiches, and giving them some tuna when I made sandwiches... almost 15 years ago. With cats I haven't lived with in over 10 years. They still remember. And they drive my mom nuts.

We had a cat - a some dogs. Big dogs. More the 40 Kgs/80 pounds. The dog farted a lot. No problem, some giggling. The cat farted seldom. We all had to flee in pain. There´s nothing as bad as cat farts.

Owner of three cats. Whenever I defrost things I put it on a plate, then put the plate in the microwave. Not to cook it, but because the microwave then acts like a safe. Bonus feature is I activate the microwave’s timer so I don’t forget it’s in there.

I had a cat that did this exact same thing when I was a kid. She really loved to get stuck in the closet under the stairs, under the very bottom stair where I had to use a broom to get her out. Oh and she was blind too, so when we got her out she would go right back into that spot and yeowl.

One cat that stayed with us had kittens but hid them from us. Sadly, she would regularly forget where they were and howl at us for help finding them. Once we had found them, she hid them somewhere different. Repeat every few days.

Mine will find socks wherever you try to hide them. There's a specific cry she does !_#_¥!!! when she's found one. She brings it into the middle of the living room and just drops it. That's it. Doesn't want a thing to do with it after that. The most we've had were 8 dif socks

A lot of these is just behavior there getting rewarded for. Cat's are smart, why would they stop doing something if you pick them up and pet them. No, they won't stop doing it immediately but if you don't give in they will eventually stop. Worked with my cat's. Just needs some dedication.

I feel lucky. My cat will push some things on the floor if she's bored and wants my attention (I've been ignoring her and she's been slowly doing it less). Otherwise she's pretty shy with other people, but pretty sweet with me and doesn't have any other really bad habits.

A lot of these is just behavior there getting rewarded for. Cat's are smart, why would they stop doing something if you pick them up and pet them. No, they won't stop doing it immediately but if you don't give in they will eventually stop. Worked with my cat's. Just needs some dedication.

I feel lucky. My cat will push some things on the floor if she's bored and wants my attention (I've been ignoring her and she's been slowly doing it less). Otherwise she's pretty shy with other people, but pretty sweet with me and doesn't have any other really bad habits.

I did it again. Scrolled through every damn one of these cat shenanigans and enjoyed them. How depressing. I'm gonna go find my cat now, he'll cheer me up.
