14 People That Went Fishing For Compliments And Got What They Deserved
696Kviews
Thirst trapping or fishing for compliments, whatever you want to call it, people on social media are constantly using their posts to seek validation from the public and it's a dangerous game.
While some people who display this kind of behavior are genuinely just insecure, according to Dr.George Simon, PhD of "Ask The Psych," others may do it to manipulate others into paying them recognition. The following is a collection of people who went out looking for praise on the internet but forgot that nobody is safe in the web universe. Scroll through these bold photos and captions and read the brutal responses they received and don't forget to upvote your faves!

Ugh. Neediness and external loci of affirmation really don't do it for me.
...BRUH I'm 220 lbs (I'm working on losing fat and building muscle, so please dont come at me)
Seriously? Who blured their faces on big pic but left the miniature, which is made from the same picture?
Why would you even lie about something like that?! How despicable of a human being are you?!
I don't see how people "got more than they asked for" in 90% of these. What a pointless article...
I think it’s still in development... people can still upload. Hopefully good ones will come up.

I think a lot of these posters are about the age that they've hit puberty, which is a difficult moment for young women (or men). You don't feel very confident about yourself yet and your hormones hit you like crazy. Not saying they should be babied but some of the comments are quite rude in my eyes.. As is the case with a lot of things, i'm sure their insecurity will fade with age.
And then reread that stuff and think: jeez how immature was I
I dont think that women’s insecurity necessarily fades with age....we just dont post it on facebook anymore. :/
They invited the comments with the posts. You have to be willing to accept natural consequences. Maybe they will think before they post in the future.
I don't understand how fishing for compliments from people makes them feel better about themselves.
