This flat Eart thing is just showing how easy it is to malipulate people. I think, that the whole point of this is so that people would not believe blindly in everything so called authorities are trying to sell as "universal truths" and start to think on their own. Many people will believe in anything, as long as it's advocated by someone they see as authority in some field. I see it this way.

It's not about the logic for them, it's desperately holding on to something to feel better /smarter than other people and be part of an exclusive group.

It's not a theory though. It's simply a belief. There's a big difference between theory and belief. Theory works from the position that there is a culmination of evidence that supports an idea but has yet to be proven as fact. It is a rational process. It's a process that is open for debate, takes in new evidence and is updated and revised as new information is taken in. A belief simply accepts a concept as truth regardless of evidence. It is close ended and is most often interwoven with emotion. With belief, you are more apt to deny anything that conflicts with it.

wait if flat-earthers believe the earth is flat, then 1.) How far would we go through the earth before we fall through? 2.) Then does that mean that earthquakes travel in lines or waves? 3.) Does that mean we live on the top of the earth or the bottom? How would we be warm? 4.) If the earth is flat, then why does the weatherman always show on his map that the hurricane is shaped like a circle? and 5.) Uhm, Gravity anyone???

Paul, chemtrails are real. Simply look up the army admitting it in 1977 (sprayed many cities) , and a law was put forth in congress in 2001 mentioning chentrails by name. The rest of what you said has obviously been proven false

Okay, let's really think about this. If Earth really was flat, don't you think the edge would be a HUGE tourist attraction? I can only imagine the hotels they'd build there and charge people a boat-load of money to stay. I'd be the first one there to sit and dangle my feet over the edge. Alas, I've flown all over this planet and have not once seen the edge. All those "flat Earthers" need to attach a Go Pro type camera to a helium balloon and watch the footage as it ascends, THEN try to explain their theories on why it's flat. I agree with Herb Eaversmells....I think it's people just getting a kick out of starting arguments and laughing as they read the fallout. I mean, c'mon, nobody can be so stupid as to believe this beautiful planet of ours is actually flat.

I’ll end saying this , the first time I heard it , I would say the same as everyone is on here. My main question to flat earth-ers is this. How do you explain people being able to sail and fly west from the Americas, and get to Australia, Japan etc without falling off? Equally, how do you go East from these places back to America without falling off?? I know that's a ridiculous thing to ask but I'd really really like to know how they explain that one?
