I don't get how he's managing to hold her in the second one, his left hand is barely holding her leg, and I can't even work out where his right hand is!

I can see his right arm at his side. Probably holding her left leg. It looks to me as if she jumped up held on for dear life while someone snapped the pic. That's why so much laughter. What a great memory. Love it
