Pets grow up so fast. Most of us didn't even notice how the small bean that we took home became a big doggo. Usually, it takes only a year for a dog to fully grow up. So you can see the changes they go through in even a few weeks.
That's exactly what Twitter user @wilkray proved by showing a picture of his pupper Pier at 8 weeks and 8 months. The difference is huge. Pier grew up to be a big dog, as he's not even done growing! People on Twitter liked what they saw. As of right now, the picture has over 700k likes and has even started its own thread. In the thread, people are sharing their own puppers and how much they've grown in a few weeks, months, or years. The whole thread is adorable and it's bound to make you smile.

If any of you have ever adopted a pet and raised them from when they were little, you will understand that seeing them grow up is something else. In weeks, they change so much, not only in size but in personality. Younger puppies are often wilder, doing their business wherever they please, biting, scratching, and many more mischievous adventures. All they require is proper training. Sadly, many people abandon their dogs when they are tiny without seeing them grow up to be amazing family members. So please be ready for lots of chaos when you get a puppy, or any animal, for that matter!

I just imagined that the owners have shrunk and now I can't unsee it XD
It would be quite fun to be able to get an interview from a dog and for them to tell us what it was like to grow up so fast. However, one has to be realistic and realize that dogs would probably be way more interested in getting food than answering questions. And they would probably not even notice that they grew up. Only that their toys and snacks are smaller.

I miss seeing rotts as often as when I was younger. Unfortunately, as with pit bulls and dobermans, they have been banned in some places and hardly see them anymore.

So? Where does it say that she took the puppy home? I met my dog when she was 1 month old too. We adopted her at 9 weeks.

Poor dog. I have some nice sharp scissors. I am happy to crop the owners ears just to let him know just how bad it feels. Dogs have exactly the same nervous system as humans.
