Doctor Trying To Save Covid-19 Patients Is Baffled By Them Trying To Claim Their Diagnosis Is Fake
66Kviews
It seems like news about COVID-19 is all we hear these days and that’s, frankly, understandable. This global pandemic is affecting everyone’s lives in negative ways, so it’s hard to forget about it. At first, all the news focused on the spread, the symptoms, and the effects of this horrible illness that has claimed 333,032 lives as of May 22, 2020. However, as the virus has moved across the world, another beast has emerged—conspiracy theories.
The dangerous concept that the virus is only a hoax initially seemed like a joke or something that anti-vax groups would share on their Facebook group pages. However, unfortunately, the idea gained followers and started spreading, prompting people to avoid using protection and endangering not only themselves, but others as well.
Doctor Ryan Marino recently took to Twitter to share his experience of coming face-to-face with one of the people who genuinely believes that the virus is a hoax. The worst part is, perhaps, that the person was his patient. That had COVID-19. Understandably, the doctor expressed his frustrations and people joined in on the discussion.

It's simple, you infect someone due to your own idiocy you get charged with attempted murder. They die, you get charged with murder. Same should go for all these religious leaders. A charge of attempted murder for each of their flock that get sick.
Right. Isn’t there something similar regarding HIV? If you knowingly have it and knowingly infect someone else and not disclose you have it during unprotected sex. Can’t that person be charged with something ? I’m not totally sure I may be wrong.
Lol...coronavirus...the greatest scam on the world since centralized banking...😏🇺🇲
@angela and @lip thanks for the kindness, it means a lot. I'm in Canada

@KT Trondsen if you were wondering where I get these "delusional notions" you know depression can kill you, right? Think before you speak. Please stop being a pain. I think I'm gonna delete my bored panda account because INSTANTLY I try to be social and the larger amount of people here are careless jerks.

Dude, I'm not religious, but they're just trying to keep their people HAPPY, and personally, I think that matters more. I'm depressed because of isolation, and I would most likely be more healthy if I HAD covid. That is just my opinion, but there you go.
Being ALIVE is more important than a temporary position of unhappiness. You most certainly would NOT be more healthy being infected with COVID. Where on earth do you get such insanely delusional notions?
With all the technology today, there is no reason for a large group to,gather in a confined space during a pandemic. If those so-called Christian leader truly followed the teachings of Christ the would take advantage of the tech and make sure all their people had access. We zoom our meetings and the elders are calling each one of us each week to,check on us and make sure we have access, among other things. I noticed one church in our area has set up so you can park and pick up their meeting thru your car radio. Their insistence on gathering "because it's their right," despite the danger, shows where their hearts truly lie.
You can't pass the collection plate at a virtual service. That's the bottom line.
@angela applause to you sweet one, for noticing the real sentiment behind the comment. @wakabuggie i extend the same as Angela from CA! :)

Wakabuggie, we can keep replies going here if you like. I am a listening ear. The isolation is difficult just wanted you to know you have someone/somewhere to chat. Just simple inane chatter. I'm in Michigan. You? It's record hot, after snow on Mother's Day!
You do realize that COVID19 could KILL you, right? Depression is harsh shit, but it wont kill you as fast as COVID19 could.
Covidiots.
Blocking ambulances going to the hospital? The hell? Surely that's illegal. It doesn't matter what these people think regarding saving their own lives, but preventing others from getting care, and not adhering to measures that keeps their fellow citizens around them safe, that's just obscene. Whether these deniers like it or not, they live in a society. This nonsense needs to stop. The selfishness is just growing out of control.
I hope they called the police on them, they are endangering the lives of people.
Please, let's stop with conflating selfishness and stupidity. Not the same, not inherently connected. Know way too many very social, very altruistic, stupid people. And a lot of very intelligent, selfish people who behave in way, way more socially proper fashion than their "more caring" fellow citizens.
