Hi, my name is Eben aka @ebenism on Instagram and I'm a Digital Artist from Australia. My images have gained a lot of attention recently and when Bored Panda contacted me asking if I would like to share some of my work and the inspiration behind them I humbly obliged.
Giant animals and tiny humans are the premises for my recent series of photo-manipulations and my Instagram account is a series of windows into my imagination.
The might and awe of the animal kingdom have always been an inspiration and I like to think we all have our spirit animals that challenge, guide and protect us in a world that seems to be diving deeper into chaos.
Issues regarding the demise of species with the impact of every human encroachment into native habitats weigh heavily on my heart. Mother Nature is incredible. It's way bigger than all of us tiny humans and we all have our part to play.
I hope to continue to create art that makes you think and inspire people to see the natural world and all its magnificent creatures with a sense of connection, wonder and intrigue.

I wish they were really that big so that they could fight back against poachers
Even though the title says ". . . .Invaded by Giant Animals" I appreciate the artist using photographs of Gentle Nature. Rather than any photographs of animals attacking or being aggressive. They look as if, being observant to the tiny world of humans which they've just arrived in. . . When I read the title for the first time, I felt uncomfortable. But I really like the Graphics. As an Ecologist I really don't appreciate the bad reputation certain wild animals get from mass myths and phobia. Especially Hollywood keep bringing more and more new ideas how to terrify us from animals like Anacondas,
Bears are scary enough as they are! This pic gives me the chills! I live in bear country!!
This one is my favorite, good job they all turned out awesome and thank you for sharing!
Here, kitty kitty kitty!! Nice pussycat! *wonders if u give this thing catnip if it would be nice and not eat u!*
Hes thinking "will i be shot like my parents?", why are people so obsessed with my long teeth?".....makes me very sad this one.
This is inaccurate. That thing is HUGE. All the water, rocks, and gravel would be gusted along with that dude!
"Now I can see the whales Looming out of the dark Like arrows in the sky I can't believe my eyes..." "Flying Whales" - Gojira
Ouch! Even worse because of lightning rods and poles, and whatnot.
Load More Replies...I think its a bit confusing, ice on the bottom, shark parallel to bottom but appears to be breaching somehow and the guy is , I love the others but I m confused
at first I was thinking "wow! so majestic!" then I kept scrolling and there's a dude w/ a surf board...I was a bit disappointed...I imagined a young girl in a pale dress, looking wise beyond her years, standing in the sand seeing a future only she and the king could see...I would buy that print :) all in all though your art is really amazing, thanks for sharing!
I love this . I am sending it to a friend of mine who surfs and is also a Leo.
I would just love to jump on his k and soar through the skies.
Beautiful pics, just hope those animals would treat us humans better that we treat them in our real world...
But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not faint...Isaiah 40:31
If this happens someday for real, the dude would definitely not look this composed. lol
This guy needs a sword or bow/arrow pointing in the direction they're both looking, but even w/o that your work is fabulous. It could easily be blended with some elegant fantasy. You should be proud of yourself Eben!
Beautiful work and inspiration. I really feel what you are saying about protecting the natural world. I have been reading a lot about the intelligence and near consciousness of many animals including some you have included here. Makes you ever more passionate about saving them and respecting them as beings in their own right. This is their world too!
Your thought concept and art work is simply magnificent and sensational. Love it very much.
