I was impressed with the pupper that works at the aminal doctor, and this amazing guy has stolen my heart forevermore, but I'm afraid if I say he is most important, some other even more amazing pup is going to come along, as hard as it seems as this moment. If you listen to country music, it's just like the song Then by Brad Paisley, with each Then being a different pup instead of couple experience.

Just imagine if you were like this little girl and had to testify about sexual abuse with your abuser sitting a few feet away, staring at you. He would have, no doubt, told you that if you ever "outed" him, he would hurt you, your sister/mum/pet and then you have his lawyer tormenting you, trying to make it sound as though you are lying. God Bless the person who thought of allowing dogs to be with these children.

Courts should have at least have for children a partition between the abuser and the child so the child wouldn't have to see him/her.

I had a black labrador that used to follow me when I was young as i was a wanderer and my mother had to get on her bike to try to find me. He was the greatest protector and would always walk between me and strangers. This picture of takes me right back to some of the happiest days of my life with my faithful black labrador Bruce.

Holy cow! Wish I could train my cats to do that. According to google, "European white truffles can sell for as much as $3,600 a pound, making them and their fellow fungi the most expensive food in the world. One two-pound truffle recently sold for more than $300,000." You could buy a used car with what your dog found. Simply incredible.

These aren't German Shepherds. They're Belgian Malinois. They're so intelligent that they're not recommended as house pets. They need a great deal of intellectual stimulation, or they go a bit crazy. They can be trained to do all sorts of things.

I think this was featured a while ago and it was explained that the wrenches were weighted so the weight was evenly distributed and the dog was not at any risk of developing back issues from it.

We have two therapy dogs, a greyhound and a cocker spaniel, that are members of a similar group, Paws for Friendship. My husband takes them to several facilities on a weekly basis, and lots of other places more infrequently. They love the "work," and he loves taking them and meeting all the people. It's a wonderful retirement volunteer job for him, too. Therapy dogs are the BEST!

We have a pug. And about a year after we got her my husband ended up in brain surgery from an accident. One night she woke me up by sitting my chest and putting her nose on mine, which she had never done before. Thinking she had to go out I got up, she wouldn't leave the bed. 10 min later my husband starting having a seizure. She had NEVER BEEN TRAINED! And any night he would get ready to have one, she would do that same exact thing and I would know. She's a good puggerella

I'm not a dog person, but I'm not a dog person (I prefer cats), but seeing working dogs makes me happy. Dogs have assisted humans for tens of thousands of years and were largely bred for work ethics among other more specific abilities. I feel that most dogs probably WANT a defined job with clear rules. And working dogs are generally handled by proffessionals who are educated about their needs, they get proper traing and are thus are more relaxed because the do's and don'ts are pretty clear to them, and since they have a defined job they get to be certain that they're an essential part of their pack. I feel for the dogs of inept owners; paradoxically, the fact that dogs are social and so very much focused on humans means that they require a lot more work to be taught PROPER social behavior that will make their life a pleasant one.

I am a dog lover and have always had one, that was both indoor and outdoor, though I have had to make some adjustments as my NZ husband thinks dogs are for work and live outside. So now have been adopted by a Burmese/ Rag doll cat that thinks its a dog - so I am happy as he comes in and out as he wants.
