This Hairdresser Showcases How She Fixes Clients’ Curls And It’s Impressive

Every proud owner of curly hair knows how hard it is to maintain it. This is probably the reason why so many people decide to straighten their hair. However, sometimes all of their problems could be solved by visiting a hairdresser who knows how to make your curls look absolutely amazing. One of those hairstylists is Jessica Kiyomi from Oakland, California, who recently shared the magic she performs on curly hair. Her thread showing photos of curly hair transformations shared on Twitter quickly received 27k likes and around 4k retweets.
As it turns out, Kiyomi just loves curly hair and she doesn't even find it that hard to work with them. "Maybe because I have curly hair I don’t find it difficult to work with at all, I actually really enjoy the entire process of cutting/styling curls. I think it’s easy to make curls look amazing when you’re using the right products. I am very big into the health of the hair not just what the hair looks like," she told Bored Panda.
Kiyomi has been a hairstylist for 10 years with a primary focus on color and curls. When asked why did she choose this profession, she said: "It sounds so cliche but I didn’t choose it, it chose me. I love how amazing you can make someone feel by just transforming their look. A lot of people think that your hair doesn’t matter but you can completely change a person's view of themselves by changing their hair." While it's evidential how much she loves her job, Kiyomi revealed that it can get quite challenging sometimes. "I think the most challenging part about my job is actually finding a balance between work in my personal life. With being behind the chair full-time and also working for the NBA is Golden State Warriors dance team I have to force myself to take days off or else I’d work 24/7"
The hairstylist had no idea that her work would gather so much attention, but people were absolutely impressed with her ability to turn frizzy, dry locks into dazzling curls. "Going viral it’s kind of weird, I just wanted to post some photos of some of my work and I never expected it to get that much attention. Over the past couple of weeks I have had hundreds and hundreds of DMs and emails, it is so overwhelming, " she said. Scroll below to see the list of her photos!
