Some handsome men are like wine - they get better with age. Bored Panda collected a list of handsome guys and hot older men over or just under 50 years old that might redefine the concept of good looking.
From sporty silver heads to true fashion icons, the list will cater to many tastes. Some of these "grandpa" male models actually started their modeling careers after they hit 45 or more. For example, Philippe Dumas was 60 years old and aging gracefully when his decision to grow a beard helped him get a modeling contract. Quite a career opportunity to look forward to, don't you think? That is if you turn out to be a handsome old man with age.
Most of the hot older male models featured here have Instagram accounts which you can follow by clicking on the source below each stunning picture. You'll thank me later. Also, don't forget to vote and comment on your favorite silver foxes!

Well-worn for 52. Again with the grandpa beard. I bet there's a great face to go with those eyes, hiding under there.
I would have enjoyed a few clean shaven men too. I noticed they all had beards which leads me to believe the author does not deem an older man is handsome unless he sports a beard.
A man doesn't grow a beard. A beard grows a man.
Were do these men live in want one
lol. In Russia, beard grows you.
Hugo Epic statement I should like to use if I may? #23
A man sports a beard. A sport does grow a man,
I think they specifically chose those men because of the beard. I bet without the beard, they would look so much younger.
Mark Harmon. <3 Agent Gibbs is my Dream Man. Too bad it's a fictional character. :(
Interestingly, I also noticed the beards. And a hipsterish appearance of half of them.
It looks as if they all had the same stylist.
Didn't know hipsters were aging out!
Go find them then, get off this site
Why don't you get off this site, you idiot!
40s and 50s is not elderly. that's mostly still considered mid aged
Where does it mention "elderly"? It just says "older men".
When i made that comment the Headline said Elderly Men. it has obviously been revised.
Actually,... in the "opener" the author does refer to these men as "grandpas", which does conjure up images of an elderly man. ... And, the author also refers to these men as... "old men"!.. ;-)
If 50 is middle age, you’re living to 100! In the US Men’s life expectancy isn’t even 80. So yes, these men are old. The issue that most people have is the bad connotation of “old.” These men show us that old doesn’t have to mean feeble.
Way, they are only 50? Gezas, they look so much older. I don't think the beard is a good choice when you pretend to be hip.
If you live to 80 then 40 would be middle-aged. 50 if you're planning on living to 100. Odds are better that middle-aged is 36-38.
Your "middle-age" deduction is correct. ... But, the "true" life expectancy of a "healthy" male that lives to be 60, is actually well into their 80's and 90's!... The 73-74 average takes into account ALL males of ANY age (teens, pre-teens, children, young adults, etc.) who succumb for ANY reason (childhood disease, accidents, murder, etc.). ... That's how they arrive at the 73-74 national male life expectancy average.
47 isn't old !
If over 35 is “old” for women, then yes 47 year old men are old. Otherwise start telling 47 year old women they aren’t old. Men do age faster than women after all.
No JB, it's not the same. Sorry to break the news to you but men can sire offspring into their 80s and 90s. Men and women aren't the same, as far as their sexuality, reproductive potential. Women are much more invested in the process of reproduction than men are, hence when their bodies reach a certain age, that's the end of their ability to reproduce. A man just plants DNA in a female, that's about it. His body doesn't have to conceive a human being and create a whole other body for nine months and then give birth. Physiologically, that's A LOT OF WORK, hence women indeed get old younger than men with respect to their sexual appeal, where a man can still be considered sexually viable, able to start a family, way into his 50s, even 60s. Completely different dynamic.
Sorry to break the news, but I am a just turned 65 year old woman, and every one of these men, be it 47years to 80years have bodies that are a wreck! I wouldn't get near any one of them with a ten foot pole! I've had children, and thank God that's over!...all that is left is the fun of 'trying'. I have mostly known younger men; 6-9 years younger than I...these days (past 60 years) men seem to have lost the 'connection' from upper to lower body. And by the way, having children is not as hard work as being married to a man, like, it's somewhat the same thing ; little kids =little problems, big kids=big problems!
We wemen age faster than men.thats why girls prefer older guys fro marriage
