I live here! People from the community volunteer to help carve the pumpkins and set it up. It's really awesome. They have music and the pumpkins light up with it and different things like that. Its a lot of fun

This is my family there. https://imgur.com/gallery/RMrW3UX Most people in our town go every year. It's been a tradition for as long as I can remember. People and kids from the community volunteer and carve the pumpkins. And It's not just pumpkins sitting there. They do a whole show with them and have themed areas. And there are vendors and good food all down the street. It's a lot of fun!

We have something like this where I live, but it's in a park and you walk along a very long path looking at all the pumpkins people brought ahead of time. Its so cool how creative some can get...they sometimes make big "science project" sized displays, its great! This is really beautiful though, it really lights up the place!

doesn't look too hard to make. Some PVC pipe, black paper to wind around it, some rope and go to town. The hard part was the concept and that was done for you.

They can also already now put up the christmas decorations and when they're ready and halloween is over just put down the halloween front and they're ready for christmas. It also looks like a nice place to hide and helps against nosy neighbors (maybe at least a little bit)

When I was 11 yo, I went to Madame Tussauds (London) and I remember a gloomy part with ghost kids (died during the Plague I think ) dancing in circle. I don't know if this still exist that way, but looking at this pic,I still perfectly remember the scene after 25 years ;p

I want this... fandom mixing included but with more weird crossover... I suggest a regenerating hand in a weird water filled container that moves and perhaps a few angels surrounding a Tardis. Love all of these. Didnt realise the US took Halloween so very seriously. When I was a kid in the UK all I had was a big turnip lantern - and I had to go and dig it up myself from the nearest small farm. Like rock to carve out.

There used to be a DJ who lived a block or two away from us who would occasionally put up a flying saucer with music, lights and smoke coming out of it, complete with some aliens. It was awesome. Once while in middle school, it had a Bill Clinton theme. Two aliens were standing with a dissected Bill Clinton and there were signs outside reading "Take my wife, please!" "Monica, Help!" and "Why me? Al's the one who created the X-files." Unfortunately, a few weeks before Halloween fell that year, there was a huge storm and it took down the entire spaceship--leaving nothing but wood splinters. It never got repaired that year in time for Halloween. I miss that flying saucer. It was awesome.
