You know, somehow it makes me feel sad :/ I'm just happy with a nice driver, polite... funny is a plus, but I certainly don't need them to turn into a mobile-grocery store just tu fulfill my desires and get 5 stars. I don't give a c**p about sweets and sour patch, I just want someone nice, period.

This might not be harassment, as such, but it is still unacceptable. In a professional setting of any type this is not welcome. I have a food delivery driver that compliments my hair and eyes and tells me how pretty I am every time he sees me. It isn't welcome, especially as I know he is married. But I have to see this guy every week and god knows what he'll do to my groceries if I tell him to stop/make a complaint? Or to me. He knows where I live. And that is the thing guys don't get. The moment you know a woman's address you become a potential threat to her. This is not cute or smooth or sweet. It is unwelcome and uncomfortable.

My Uber driver returned to my apartment the next night around midnight, with flowers. He banged on my door, waking me, my roommates and and my neighbors up. I had to handle that situation quite delicately- to say no thatnks but to also not set him off, considering he knew where I lived. I feel you, girl.

Have an aunt that met her future husband in a taxi. He was the driver and he flirted and voila romance began. If she rejects this uber driver but he keeps contacting her then at that point its harassment. Is match, tinder, whatever the only way ppl are supposed to meet nowadays?

This is scary especially if she didn't give him her number. If that is the case he wouldn't have been able to obtain her number but for the fact that she used Uber for transportation. Now he has her number and potentially knows where she lives. Doesn't matter if they had a seemingly pleasant conversation during the ride. That could be politeness or not wanting to p**s off a person making you uncomfortable. Whenever I'm riding a taxi or Uber I am acutely aware that I am depending on the decency of a perfect stranger to drive me to where I want to go especially at night. I have my phone in my hand ready to call for help just in case. I think that is a woman's reality that most men don't know or understand so men please think about that before saying to women alarmed by this to "chill" or something along those lines.

As cute and creative as these are, I am not sure what to think of them. These decorations are done so that the Uber drivers don't loose their job. The rating system is ultra capitalist and super competitive. Giving a driver a 4 star rating (out of 5) means that they could loose their job. Glad we don't have ueber here.

As an uber driver we do what we can to make the rider feel special we offer water ,tissue, candy etc the rating is awful for a driver we are not in competition on our ratings we are in fear of making a rider mad that they give us lower than a 5 because the more riders that give us less than a five our rate goes down and we loose our jobs. So we think of creative ways to make the rider happy as this is not always easy to do. I say if you got to point a-b safe and your driver was nice give them that 5 .

Ok, I never used Uber: What the point of the 5 stars? Do they win more money? Do they turn themselves into grocery stores for the tip? Do they just like to "unlock the achievement" of the 5 stars? Do they win the right to have a legendary armor or a cute mount?

Ueber ratings are ultra competetive. If a drivers rating is below 4,7 stars, passengers might cancel their drive on a whim without refund. If a drivers rating falls below 4,6, they might get a probiation. If it falls consistenly below the average regional stars, drivers might loose their job.

I had two freaking Uber experiences on my first week. First the driver snoozed out in the middle of the highway going to the airport. Second the driver saw we were tourists and did a huge detour. We paid 4x more and the journey took almost 1 and a 1/2 hours instead of 20 or 30 minutes. Me and my mom were creeped out, to make it worse my battery was dying, even faster than usual as I had uber, Waze and google maps open, WhatsApp with 2 groups of friends and with an uncle whose brother is an Uber driver (was trying to find costumer service number here in Brazil as I was desperate, we didn't know what he planned to do). To make it worse, when he was gonna drop us at the shopping mall, instead of going to the main entrance, he got to a terribly dark and narrow worse-than-backroad. He even tried tricking us to pay twice (was on credit card and he wanted us to pay cash). I filed a report on a popular costumer complaints website, Uber never replied but at least refunded part of my money.

Wowsers. So many of these are against Uber's TOS. Especially the physical contact/date request ones. Plus, I'm not going to spend a lot of $$ on amenities on riders who do not tip. I had water/gum/mints/charging cables and didn't even get the common courtesy of a thank you from most.

BTW to all y'all to say loose that's talking about how tight for example a piece of clothing is. When you LOSE a game, you did not win. When you LOSE your job, you got fired. There is a difference and it is a big one especially for non-native English speakers.
