I stick to my original comment: this is a depressing little corner to work, no matter how much decor one crams into it. If the only natural light comes from behind, you have to cover it to see the monitor properly.

Looks like a nightmare of a working place! No elbow space, the ceiling is depressingly low and you're facing a corner. It's a hole, practically.

It might seem that way, but it's more than enough room for me. My house is a 'wee cottage' built in 1890, so the ceilings are only 8 ft. It's a unique little house, but I work with what I've got.
