'Reimagining' is hugely popular these days; from Disney princesses to brands of soda, pretty much everything you can think of has been given a fresh perspective.
A classic of the genre is taking iconic figures of yesteryear and updating them in today's fashion. We had a previous post that did just that, taking icons of art history and making them into hipsters. Now we are back with a similar concept, this time from UntitledSave, an artist based in Porto, Portugal.
The influencers of previous times became famous for their talents and iconic works, as well as the way they presented themselves. Perhaps we could go back to those days? In the meantime, let us present those old legends as if they were the 'heroes' of today; you gotta admit, they do look cool!

The artist behind UntitledSave is Tiago, an industrial/product designer. Recently, he found himself between jobs, and being always motivated to expand his skills and artistic experience, he decided to try his hand at Photoshop. The results are more than impressive!
"Because of my free time and also because art is a huge part of my life I started to developed my skills even further on Photoshop and started to share my work on my page," Tiago told Bored Panda. "I live in Porto, Portugal and so my inspiration comes a lot from my city and its surroundings."

She reminds me a bit of British actress Susannah Harker as Jane Bennet in "Pride and Prejudice" 1995.
Tiago aims for quality over quantity, which is why, he explains, there are so far only a small list of artists represented. " I choose the ones I feel more connected to, but also I need to check if the photos have quality for the work, so that's why I have a small list," he told us.
Also Portuguese artists, singers, painters, filmmakers are a inspiration. Before I started the page I used to like surrealism, although now I'm more into classic painting."

Clicked this post because it sounded like an interesting concept. But 44 entries of 7 people?! Good grief... pick 10-30 people (acrosss different centuries and cultures, there's more than enough to choose from) for an equal amount of pictures and try to work as much as possible of their personality and style into today's fashion and lifestyle (and don't just mesh their portraits into modern pictures). It could be cool! But this collection isn't...
