Sometimes it feels as if cats are actually tiny weirdo humans in fur costumes. We've seen them doing all sorts of wonderfully bizarre things, like playing hide and seek or watching TV. Sometimes bored panda is too much for me. Cute fat cat: oh my, its gonna get health issues. Cute overweight girl: oh my she looks good in that outfit! Can we just state the fact, that overweight cats and humans are beautiful, but might get health issues because of their weight, so eating a little less might actually be helping?

Wish people would quit making their cats fat... there are so many people who think it's cute, but it's so bad for the cats. Why make your cat suffer just so you can think it's cute? I just don't understand this trend. It's animal abuse in my eyes.

Why is this down voted? She's absolutely right. Obese cats are not healthy or happy. There's no reason for it, aside from bad humans (over) feeding their cats trash-food. The rare instance of a metabolic issue is different, of course (and can be managed by listening to YOUR VET)...But there's no way all of these cats have a broken metabolism.

I liked these pictures, but I am a bit concerned about some of these overweight cats. I know that it's none of my business, but an overweight pet is like an overweight child and you sometimes worry about those situations.

Aside from the thicc ones, when cat's sit like this it can be because the have a cartilage defect (this is particularly true of Scottish Folds, like #35 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Fold#Osteochondrodysplasia)).

I have a long haired chihuahua and she sits like this. I love her little belly. It looks like it would hurt her back to sit like that but I guess not.

Many adorable cats, I have two, I give very little treats, reading the comments, we all agree, fat cats or dogs, is extremely dangerous, they are not happy, they do not feel good, the will suffer and die young, I beg people, if you love your PET, do something !!!
