Internet personality Sierra Schultzzie is all about being confident and kind to your body. And one of her recent projects perfectly proves it. Sierra has been recreating iconic celebrity photos, but in a way that didn't overpower her own personality.
"I'm not trying to look like these celebrities," she said in her YouTube video. "I'm just recreating the pose, the outfit, the photoshoot. It's just gonna be me, Sierra, in a way I naturally am."
To achieve better results, Sierra teamed up with a team of professionals, including videographer @rubensamuelcortez, photographer @tonymoux, and producer @sky.p_. From Marilyn Monroe to Britney Spears, they paid homage to quite a few wonderful women and had a blast doing it as well!

Tony Moux, a photographer who worked on the series, was really happy to be a part of it. To him, this was more than reverse engineering the images. "I'm deeply inspired to work on projects and with people like Sierra," he told Bored Panda. "She has created a positive awareness of the beauty industry. What we find beautiful has had a narrow vision in the past. These photoshoots are just one way of widening that vision."

Tony has always had a preconceived notion of YouTubers and influencers. However, working with Sierra has changed his mind. "The notion that they make random content and rarely work [is] not true at all," he explained. "At least in the case of Sierra. She works her butt off, nonstop. Every challenge she takes on requires a massive amount of courage."

She was a 36-24-34, 5’5” and 118. I'm 5'6" and 170 lbs and I wear a size 8. So yes I think she must had been quite thin. Just curvy. With that said, this model looks a little larger than mid sized.

Marilyn was a size 12 (for the time) she WAS mid. Let's not sugarcoat it, this model is a large woman, not mid. There's nothing wrong with that. Shes beautiful the way she is.

Marilyn Monroe had the very hourglass figure, but she had a very tiny waist. To give you an example : Scarlett Johansson is bigger by 1 inch (Marilyn was around 36 - 24 - 34, and Scarlett is 36 - 25 - 36). I’m not sure I would say that Scarlett Johansson is midsize, for me, she’s slim, and absolutely not a size 12.

I just hate it that with this type of posts everybody is praising full-figured women and talks trash about the original like not looking healthy and stuff. This is also mean. I think that the woman in the original pic looks very good and I would bet my heart she's healthy as far as her weight goes. Let's face it, she's a normal looking woman. I don't think - until this very moment - that I realized how much I disbelieve magazines with the stereotypical thin body shape on the cover. I can never look like that. It's an unattainable ideal. The cover on the right? She might not be perfectly in shape, but she's making progress. It's doable. And I can be happy with myself along the way, instead of happy with myself only once I get there.

I seriously do not understand how people keep glorifying this. I mean, I know losing weight is not easy, it's very hard, but its all about changing your lifestyle. Instead of saying this is a "healthy" start making better food choices and go workout at least 3 times a week. I have done it, so have many many people. I agree body-shaming is bad too, but don't say this is Healthy please...

It's really nice, but I still like (most of) the left ones more then her. It's just a personal preference thing. I don't think we should promote obesity or try to change people's preference, we should promote not being a d**k! It's not a problem that people don't like how someone looks, but they should learn to keep it to themselves and not be a d**k about it. No need to call out obese people or say they're ugly. Just ignore and move on if you don't like what you see. They know they're obese, and unhealthy, so no need to tell them. People should learn to keep their thoughts inside of their heads more.

To Brivid's point- heavier was considered more attractive because eating high calorie foods was more difficult for low income people. Basically being really skinny and tan meant you were poor and had to work outside all day. Being chubby/ heavy meant you had money and could pay people to work for you.
