30 Incredible Transformations That Show How Ordinary People Can Dramatically Improve Their Looks (New Pics)
Konstantin Bogomolov is a very brave stylist — he agrees to completely transform people's looks. It doesn't matter if a young man or an elderly woman comes to him, if they want changes, he and his team are ready to deliver them.
Bogomolov's website says he started "developing a new direction of image design" in the '90s. "Immediately it aroused great interest, both in society and the media. The time and authority that Konstantin gained in this field have confirmed the practicability and relevance of the chosen direction." His professional experience includes writing articles and handling photo stories for fashion magazines, producing TV programs about style and fashion, working as an image consultant in beauty salons, cooperating with model agencies, preparing fashion shows, and of course, developing style for individual clients.
Konstantin calls himself the number one stylist in Latvia. Is he really? Take a look at his clientele before and after their makeovers and you tell us!

She looked stunning before, also. The grey hair, the gentle smile, what a STAR! <3
Bored Panda has already featured Konstantin Bogomolov here and here, but the stylist has been keeping himself and his team really busy, so we just had to do an update.
Bogomolov said he often hears the question “How to change my image successfully?” but thinks that’s not what people should be asking. “A spectacular transformation of one’s appearance should not become the ultimate goal. In some cases, it requires a radical change, in some just a minor correction.
Kristina, 37 Years Old, Psychologist
The stylist says his main task is not to change, but rather to find the client's image. He believes that one’s personality is what’s most important and that clothes, hair, and makeup are just tools that the image designer works with to help express it.

Tatiana, 57 Years Old, Entrepreneur
Evgenia, 30 Years Old, Owner Of A Photo Studio
She looks very put-together in the before, but not very 'professional.' In the after, they gave her that 'professional' feel, but without making her look too overdressed. This is one of the best ones yet, because the before is very nice (maybe for something very casual) and the after is also very nice, but maybe for a more professional setting.
She went from looking like a teenager, to looking like a successful businesswoman!
You'd think that since she's a member of the "style" industry, it's surprising to think she looked like 'before' in a professional setting.
Evgenia looks strong in both, but in the second she has a more feminine look with the beautiful new hair style and clothes.
Once again, I think it gives a person more confidence and they show it.
She's the only one who got to keep her hair lol. I like both. Before, casual fun. After, a night out.

Two arm-full of tatts is now a style upgrade? I'm thinking photoshop or else this guy dropped a couple of thousand dollars on a long painful option just to show us what some new cloths and groom will do for you.

The top right photo reminds me of Patricia Richardson as Jillian Taylor in Home Improvement. Does anyone else think so?

All the "after" ones look like 1980s office workers. Also why are all the "better" (after) photos of women ones with women covered in make-up? Very subjective, gives off bad messages to women that they have to be coiffed and made-up in order to be attractive. This article should have been released in the 1950s not in today's world
To be fair, the few men are covered in make up too.
Clearly you're not attractive without make-up! Utterly ridiculous attitude isn't it
Thank you! I was hoping someone would notice this...

Have a seat, you are too triggered right now.
So the trick seems to be: cut your hair, load it with styling gel (or whatever) and slap on a nice thick layer of make-up. I wonder if that might be the general key to success in life??? But I doubt it very much...
positive vibes. you think successful people just became successful because they work hard alone?you need to feel good about yourself so you can look on different perspective. when i look good, i feel refreshed, i feel motivated. dont you feel that way?
bruh u need to chill...they were just given slight update...as far as i can see, the make up part isnt even that much. they still look natural. what is wrong with make up?
again, you're telling people to feel and look "good" they need makeup.
Nope. Updated looks, simply put. You missed the point.
What is it with these posts ? And that caption !!! Really BP ?
what's wrong?
Do you mean to tell me that professional stylists, make up artists and clothing designers will drastically alter peoples’ physical appearance?? All while being professionally photographed under perfect lighting conditions?? What is this magic you speak of???
The problem with these makeovers is that they always rely on hairstyles that are hard or impossible to maintain in daily life. Plus a ton of makeup. And who wants to plaster make up on every day?
Those looks are clearly not for every day. Maybe some where specifically asked for to be easy to re-do on their own, but most were done for the "wow"-moment. It's not bad. I bet, though, especially the teachers and pedagogues will return to the "wild" after a day or two. You don't go around kids looking like Darkwing Duck.
It's like the Oprah of makeovers. "You get a jacket! And you get a jacket! And you get a jacket!"
This is too dumb. The befores are casual wear inside the house, and the afters are get an edgy haircut, put on more expensive clothes and strike a pose. So I guess the key is to have more money. Got it. btw some of them went over the edge and look like dated catalogue models.
Nothing edgy about these haircuts. Not in style is more the word.
Why do people feel the need to change themselves to feel "beautiful"?
Why do people go to the hairdresser? Why shave?
Why dress in anything except a mumu? Why cut your hair?
The only one I like is Irina. Everyone else got a bargain-bin makeover.
As far as the outfits go, they look much better (some of them at least) after they've been dressed by the professional, and I'm glad that they may have learned how to better dress themselves. The makeup... is generally a little over-the-top, and the haircuts seem to be very repetitive.
OK so these women are psychologists, entrepreneurs, health workers, logisticians etc but let's just judge them on how they look *hard eye roll*
Although most of them looked fine before, the makeovers give them a more professional look. And there's nothing wrong with throwing on some makeup and styling your hair to feel more confident and better about yourself.
Yes, if an ordinary person had someone come in and do their hair and make up each day, they would look more like a newscaster.... great.
LMAO
You mean if I do full hair, make up, wardrobe, and pose I'll look completely different? No way!
I must say again here...ALL of the new clothes/outfits are TERRIBLE! Certainly not my taste, yuck
Fashion tastes are quite different in Latvia than the UK, it appears.
So makeup, professional hair styling, uncomfortable clothing, chunky accessories, and shoes that are bad for your feet.
Rebecca Schultz yes
What is with the stylist being "brave" to transform anyone? Basically that translates into "we think these people are ugly and homely, but look what he did!"
that's not buckets of make-up, pop-culture cliche outfits and other trash to make completely normal and ordinary people look like fashion fanatics... and it's not stylish to make everything look "fashionable" and "stylish" of ones liking. If it's fake it's worse than being a bit too ordinary.
All well and good for a day, but how many of these people have the thousands of dollars needed to transform their entire wardrobes? Not to mention that they likely don't want to invest that much time in personal grooming daily.
I think everyone here is missing the point. This was a MAKEOVER session. What did you all expect? Literally says 'improving your looks' - not your life, not your character, not your anything else. The point was to improve your LOOKS.

I prefer ordinary people looks over model looks.
Perfectly normal people transformed into high-maintenance ones.
Make up your minds! First there are numerous posts about how we should not be obsessed with appearance and now this.
You don't have to change wit society's criticism, people. You do you, boo!
Wow, this clearly isn't for me... They all look bossy and intimidating now. O_____O
Wait, so Hollywood people are actually regular people dolled up by professionnals??? (oh, never mind, we knew that)
It's so fun getting a makeover!! I don't know why all the negative comments
Sooo time-consuming, thick makeup, New/time-consuming/expensive hairdo, and money for a whole new wardrobe? Who would've thought?
Why has every woman to give up her individuality for an American business style look? Disgusting.
I would have been more impressed if a similar result had been achieved with less “filters” = fake beauty.
This confuses me... Why does Bored Panda often post articles of how bad it is to shame people by the way they look and in the same breath they post crap like this on how to improve looks? Damn...
I feel that all the women just looks more like a 'Karen' now...

Well thanks for including TWO guys!
Might get downvoted but why do all the “after" photos have so much makeup?
Well, I'm certainly relieved they had a couple of token men that needed to improve their looks (she said, sarcastically).
Out of 53 photos, there were only two men. SMH.
Shame about the lack of diversity in size and ethnicity- I get that Latvia may not be massively ethnically diverse...but not a single fuller-figure?
As a matter of fact, EVERYBODY is ordinary. There is NO exception.
I absolutely HATE that this whole article literally says "A makeover means we BAN comfortable clothing and put tons of makeup on your face." How about no?
Issey yes
The updated hair & makeup makes a world of difference, but the wardrobe updates are the best! If you look a little "frumpy" you tend to dress that way as well. Wonderful results!
i really need a haircut suited for me! my hair and face dont really match that well
So. Much. Makeup.

Ashley Farrell what
Lemme see if I've got this right: get rid of all skin marks (even freckles), cut hair and make the right smile and give it a more confident pose.
Why be yourself when you can be someone else? All I can think looking at this is that society is telling these educated women they are not enough unless they get "prettied" up
Man, living in Russia sure seems like it's rough. Must be the harsh winters.
does putting the two guys in the list make this a legitimate post?
Why do they all have short hair? You can keep length and have great hair still.
So, a haircut and make up can make a difference. Who knew? Oh....everyone!
To say the truth: I'd prefer the women in the first "Before" photos. They look more natural. The "After" photos are the look of Industry-Stylists who mean you'd be more attractive with a lot of make-up. Even the freckles vanish ... Why? And that's my opinion as a man.
Hollar Cut lol
The clothing trends seem to be very different than here. Which also makes the before/after different in styles than what we are used to. I'm one of those women who likes to wear make-up and dress nice. It gives me not only confidence but also gives the impression of "business".
Just say "No!" to wearing leather pants! Did you not see the episode of "Friends" where Ross disastrously wears a pair? LOL.
Quinn Nix -
Folks, back me up. Do half your face with bargain store make-up and leave half bare after a wash with soap. Only "do" half the hair on your head. Voila! "Transformation!" Yes? No? Just getting ready for work in the morning? (Pre-Covid, that is.)
Incredible Transformations That Show How Ordinary People Can Dramatically Improve Their Looks aka White women over 30 get a haircut and a new jacket (and two white men wear uncomfortable clothes).
Dan Oh good
So much ugly negativity here. These people wanted a makeover and they all look very nice after. Just because you're happy with your look, doesn't mean people wanting to try something new are wrong. Stop projecting onto other people.
All the afters look great all it took was a nice cut and style and a little makeup it made a huge difference in some of them.
"Look what a haircut, different make-up, change of clothes and a smile can do for white people. "
This is very helpful information. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.Best electronics

The main problem with the "before" pictures is that these women look dated - and they seem to be clinging to what they wore in college instead of actually LOOKING in the mirror and dressing to fit who they are NOW.
They look dated after too - very 1980s
