30 Women Tell A Makeup Artist And Hairstylist Duo To “Do Something” But Don’t Know What, So They Freestyle It
Makeup artist Oksana Trunova has had a lot of clients asking for changes without having a particular look in mind. In fact, Oksana has had so many of these requests, she decided to team up with hairstylist Olga Tarasova and freestyle these makeovers.
Oksana has also been sharing before-and-after photos of these transformations on her Instagram account, and they've earned her quite the following; the style guru already has nearly 30,000 fans! Continue scrolling and check out these images yourself.

"I call this project 'Blind Makeovers' and I started it 5 years ago," Oksana told Bored Panda. "I came up with this concept after I worked in a beauty salon and saw women coming in and telling me to 'do something,' but not knowing what they wanted." The makeup artist then started observing women on the street, trying to imagine the things she would change in the passer-bys' appearance. This allowed Oksana to constantly keep brainstorming new ideas which she and Olga could later implement when someone uncertain would ask for their services again.
A typical 'blind' makeover consists of a haircut, hair coloring, makeup, and a photo. "Girls and women visit us from different corners of the country," Oksana said. "We talk, me and Olga always find out about their hobbies and other things that could give us an idea about their likes and dislikes when it comes to looks. Then, we cover the mirrors and start creating." The clients can only see themselves after the work is done.
I love this one because they kept her natural hair... that way she doesn’t have to upkeep the dyes!
wow! everyone looks at least 10 years fresher! absolutely well done!

Am I the only one who is getting sick of those "makeovers" that use Photoshop to make it look like the women magically got 10 years younger afterwards?
I like these because they are "realistic" makeovers and not contoured to death or with weird hairstyles that the women will never be able to keep up. However, that being said, most of these women look fine without the makeovers. I think people need to look however makes them comfortable. With or without makeup and hair done, they are beautiful!
When I see these makeovers I wonder how many of them will keep it up. They looked like they did before the transition because they don't want to bother with all this every day.
I love makeovers! So much fun, a little bit of make up makes a huge difference
Better title for this post wouldbe "Incompetent BoredPanda editors unable to spot appallingly obvious photoshop job."
Love all these photos, while some women look younger, it's not the unrealistic younger look (where the subject looks 20+years younger). All such beautiful ladies and the makeup look is one they can do quickly at home too. (I had one a few years ago, rarely wear makeup anyway but went from taking 5 mins or less to over an hour to do, shading and bronzing etc. Who has time for that?)
" I want to feel good about my looks, before or after".. ah yes. But we all have to admit that the after is better looking or else we are blind. What I am tired of is this usual Russian make-up artist. Do we not have any make-up artists in the US or Canada or even the rest of Europe?
Whilst I think they look stunning in the after photos, they also look absolutely fine and just as stunning in the before, too. I hate that society subtly is always enforcing the fact that "makeup will make you prettier and more conventionally attractive". If you wear makeup and that makes you feel good, fine. But anyone can look absolutely fine without makeup, and it annoys me that posts like these exist, once again subtly reminding us that we are only truly beautiful with unnatural hair and layers of makeup. It's not right.
