Barbie is the nickname of Barbara Millicent Roberts, daughter of the creator of the doll. If she was a woman of 1.68 m, she would have 50 cm of waist, 69 of bust and 73 of hip.
More than 70 haute couture designers have created clothes for her, including Gucci, Versace and Armani. More than 95 million meters of fabric has been used to make clothes. And the numbers are high in accessories: Barbie has already had more than 1 billion pairs of shoes and diamond jewelry valued at $600 thousand by Australian jeweler Stefano Canturi.
Artists are also inspired by this doll and one of them is Mark Jonathan that enchants his fans with dolls transformed into fabulous contestants of RuPaul’s Drag Race, an American reality competition television series.

They look like people from the Capitol (Hunger Games)
Shouldn't they have made drag queens out of Ken dolls instead?
it would be better I think but usually ken dolls have molded hair so it probably would be much more difficult to re-root the hair :/
Yeah I guess you have a point lol but imagine those teeny tiny wigs! <3
Not these days... now they have man buns haha
I think my idea of 'beautiful' is more than a bit different from yours, Hidreley. ☹
