I reckon there should be some sort of study done to have cases like this but the parents were anonymous so the judge doesn’t know which one is the mother and which one is the father. And do the whole process that way using live feed with black out screens and voice changers etc to keep the anonymity. Maybe then the judge will base their findings only on what is said, done etc and not basing it on the archaic ideals that kids should stay with their mothers. Just because you are a mother, doesn’t mean you are the most suitable in having most or full custody.

it actually wasn't that hot! all of their underlayers were made out of cotton, which is incredibly breathable. they weren't wearing too many layers either, only a shift, a cotton nightgown essentially, a corset (their form of a bra, it was not harmful in any way), around two petticoats, and a bum roll in that era. their gowns did change with the seasons though, winter dresses were made out of wool typically, and summer dresses out of cotton.

a lot of it sounds exactly like my thought process when my eating disorder was at it's worse. it's a very toxic mindset to have, one that's repeated by so many people with severe anorexia. there are parts where it's sound advice, starting small and forgiving yourself. that's advice i would repeat. however, the rest of it is quite a mess. "The world wants to sabotage you" "Track everything" those are things i've heard from people who are incredibly mentally ill and need help.
