It's hard to say, since we don't know her personally. But the fact that she accepted to post her natural face kinda answers the question. She probably does see what you see, but there may be many different reasons why one would want to, say, "keep their privacy". Also, note that most women don't do full make-up every day, it's just sometimes, for fun. You can wear a different face, just like you'll wear a different t-shirt.

Especially in Japanese culture which I'm guessing this is coming from with the marks on the photos -- cosplay and in-depth makeup for it is very much a thing. It will have nothing to do with if she thinks she's beautiful but trying to fit a role for an event usuaully.

Looks like some form of latex stage makeup. Liquid latex is used to add to a face or mask for films and stage etc.

Movie actresses in America have been doing that since silent film days. Many actresses (including Joan Crawford) had their back teeth pulled so that their cheeks would sink and they'd look like they had higher cheekbones. ... This is nothing new.
