Artist Arranges Everyday Objects To Make Perfect-Looking Art Pieces, And Here Are 80 Of The Best Ones
Kristen Meyer is an American designer based in New Haven, Connecticut. Kristen’s portfolio is filled with images that blend everyday objects with unusual geometric precision. Circles, squares, triangles, etc. are just the beginning when it comes to Kristen’s work. Her creativity knows no bounds and all of this is done to create photographs that seem to play with our eyes.
When asked about her work, this is what Kristen told in an interview: “As far as how I find materials to experiment with, it varies a lot… I generally work with what I can find around the house, inside or out. It begins as a scavenger hunt of sorts, and then a challenge as I begin to build.”

I'm looking around my house and yard now. to see things to make a mosaic. Even if I don't, It will be an adventure to open my eyes to the obvious.
One of those tulips is the entrance to a secret hideout called "Mario World".
how. does. anyone. possibly. cut. crackers. that. perfectly. ????
Beautiful composition and use of color! I love this one!
Load More Replies...But it's a photo! It's beautiful, but how did she get so many insects to hold position?
Load More Replies...Murdering a bunch of critters for art is beyond disgusting. Yes I hunt. I hunt for meat I can't eat horns maybe make a knife handle but not eat em. Tokillthe bugs once they are collected you place them in a jar with a cotton ball soaked with ether or alcohol. Bug dies quickly.
I want this on my wall but really big- the leaf would be two feet tall.
Does anyone know what the two big bits of slatey-whitish pebbly stuff is?
This one is also waay tooo cute, i can't take it anymore! *cuteness overload*
I think it looks incredibly satisfying but wasn't sure why. I think it may be because I have OCD.

Make it out of cucumber and it's art, but make it out of holes and suddenly it's tripophobia
To my eyes, little bit of accordion paper is the most fascinating part of this collage
The little circles punched out of the leaves are fascinating...especially the one on the top right that has the single hole-punch and is all by itself
I wish I had eaten breakfast before hitting BP today!
Load More Replies...Oooh those washers and hooks would be the prize at the bottom of my hardware drawer!
I think it's made of that roll inside the toilet paper.
Load More Replies...She must have treated that dandelion with some sort of fixative, but even then I can’t figure out how she was able to lay it out without bursting it.
If not literally, then definitely stylistically
Load More Replies...Just like any temporary art is thrown to the garbage probably right next the yolks and whites they had to go through to get that perfect piece of shell.
Load More Replies...The comments people left above are obnoxious. Your work is very unique and fun. Looks like It takes a LOT of time and patience to perfect it all. Really nice work.
I am astounded by your beauty and creativity, just blown away. Can any of this be our hazed as posters or something?
These are so satisfying to look at. It's too perfect. And somewhat disturbing.
Now you need to use clay of some sort, and turn these into permanent works. Gorgeous!
Great suggestion! I'd love to have many of them on my walls!
