Sensual Artistry Meets Divine Beauty: My 3D Renditions Of Classical Goddesses (19 Pics)
Greetings, I am Oliver Marinkoski, an artist hailing from Macedonia, embarking on a creative odyssey that merges the timeless elegance of antiquity with contemporary allure. My craft revolves around intricately blending 3D renditions of Roman and Greek goddesses with the exquisite artistry of Japanese Shibari, entwining them in golden ropes. I take pride in infusing eroticism with tasteful refinement, sculpting creations where divine beauty dances with sensual artistry. My work unites classical gods with the sinuous grace of serpents, a seamless fusion of history, sensuality, and aesthetics.

Medusa
I always found it fascinating how Medusa came to be increasingly depicted as a villain and a monster. I always found her story to be one of tragedy. In some versions of the mythology, Medusa is a vestal virgin/priestess who serves at the temple of the goddess, Athena. Her beauty catches the eye of the sea god, Poseidon, who rapes her in the temple. Athena is furious (Athena is damn vengeful) that her temple has been desecrated so she turns Medusa into a Gorgon.
Victim blaming at it's peak. That's how I see that story.

After watching it with my brothers Ken and John i had my Horlicks before i went to bed, then i brushed my teeth and got into bed my younger sisters were already asleep. Well it just around 4 in the morning i was tossing and screaming in my sleep, my sisters were cowering under the blankets and my mum and dad came charging in the bedroom. My feet were all tangled around the blanket and when they came charging in dad came over to me and woke me up slowly, but my mum shouted at my sisters and said good job girls why didn't you wake her up. They said we didn't think because we were scared in case there was a monster under her bed. It wasn't funny at the time but thinking back i can see the funny side now.
For the record, the story of Medusa being cursed is a later version of the story written by Ovid (who did not care for the gods) and it's kind of not consistent with the earlier version, as it doesn't account for Medusa's fellow Gorgon sisters. Not that it isn't a neat story or way to interpret it, just that it's a new take on an older tale.
Using Ovid's versions of Greek mythology as the "correct" myths is a bit like using The divine comedy as the "correct" version of some bible stories

Queen
I can think of a handful of people exactly like that. Most are men, that's depressing!
This instantly made me think of the infamous melted crown scene in Game of Thrones.
Instantly I think of what K'hal Drogo did to his wife's disgusting pig of a brother. You want gold? Here ya go! (Apologies if I spelled the name wrong)
Domina
Flatterer
Medena
I think any of these would be apt for AHS promo, right to season 1!

"We are Hathor. You would be wise to unbind us and kneel before your goddess."
Bind
Praedam
Prey
Mother Of Chaos
A halo of barbed wire an enormous rifle and a molotov cocktail? MAGA Lady Liberty!
Indrani
It's not Indrani, the queen of the devas in Hinduism. What description was the artist guided by? Where did the horns and wings come from? Indrani was described as an extraordinarily beautiful and charming woman. In Hindu temples, her images had two hands. When she is portrayed as one of the Saptamatrikas (divine mothers), she has three eyes and four hands. Does the artist mean Maa Kali (the most ferocious form of Goddess Durga)?
Sphinx
The sphinx isn't a goddess but a "monster" sent by Hera (I think) to block trade to Thebes, later it was killed by Orpheus
Didn't the Sphinx kill herself after Orpheus correctly answered her riddle? A lot of these aren't goddesses though, so I think it was just a way to name the collection.

Not all of these are Roman/Greek, nor goddesses. Absolutely stunning work though!
I don't like snakes no more since my nightmare, if i see one i run like the Roadrunner.
These are amazing! I only recognize a few of the names, tho, like Medusa and Hathor, but a lot I dont think Ive heard or before.
