Could easily mean serious. If someone has to explain themselves they are not funny or obviously sarcastic.

That last sentence could be applied to just about every ruler ever. That sterilization was also used against anyone who was considered "mentally deficient," regardless of race. There are very few "good" rulers or great men who did "great" things, who did not also do horrific things. It should not detract from the overall good, just as they should be in some way accountable for the bad. Just like the rest of us. It's like cutting the worms and bad spots off a piece of fruit, there is often a lot of good still there. Unless the apple is Hitler or Stalin, and then the whole thing is rotten.

Absolutely. Including the fact that he wasn't the most emotionally present father, and he cheated both emotionally and physically on his wife. I have a question though: Do you know perfect people? I don't. I neither condone nor excuse any of those things. I just put it on one side of the balance scale. On the other side is the fact that he did get us out of the worst economic crisis in history, guided us through our involvement in a World War, and did bring about a lot of positive change. So maybe it's a push: he was neither wholly good nor utterly bad. But if he hadn't been POTUS at all? Think about the implications that for. a hot minute --- look into the alternatives at the time and tell me they'd do better. I personally don't think so.

I would disagree. Putting a mechanical means of propulsion into an aircraft had already been in practice for 50 years by 1903. The first person to make an engine-powered flight did so in a steam engine powered airship in 1852. Serious glider development (not counting anecdotal ancient pursuits) began in the latter-half of the 19th Century. It was only a matter of time before someone produced an airframe light enough and an engine with sufficient horsepower to make it happen. Also, the Wright brothers 'invented' basically nothing, they were merely the first to build a successful device based around already existing ideas.

Even if it wasn't the officers intent, it is still called murder, especially since the officer continued after being told countless times he couldn't breathe . He died because his air supply was cut off.

Mr. Chauvin was convicted of both murder and manslaughter. By definition, therefore, Mr. Floyd was murdered, and Mr. Chauvin is a murderer. It is very difficult to believe there was no intent when he had so many opportunities to spare Mr. Floyd’s life, and refused to take any of them.
