My Favorite Abandoned Building I Photographed While Traveling The World (33 pics)
Hi, my name is Simon and over the past four years I have traveled to over 40 countries in search of beautiful landscapes, awe-inspiring architecture, but most of all, the best-abandoned locations.
I am a self-taught photographer and I am driven to travel by a desire to capture the most beautiful abandoned images. I have photographed many abandoned churches, asylums, synagogues, steel mills, power plants in countries such as Azerbaijan, Georgia, Thailand, Italy, and Romania. Next year, I hope to travel to Russia and Lebanon.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post, and I really hope you enjoy looking at the photographs I took.

I like asylums! Except for the way they treat the people there. Their people to and deserve to be cared for. They just have a different thought process. Crazy is just a word for interesting! I've been called crazy so many times, and I liked the term. I think it means a person who isn't afraid to question reality.

Very nice, I just wish we knew more about the locations than general country, but places get abandoned for various reasons and it is sad to see such building in such a state, though with the two synagogues I think some things 70 years ago may have had something to do with those
